Chapter 21

Author's note : Sorry but this chapter is quite a messy one. You'll get three pov in a chapter. I'm sorry for that ><

Y/n POV

I placed my hands on the counter top. I let the water run from the tap. Water droplets fell from my face after I washed my face with the cold water.

I looked at my reflection.

Damn it! Why am I like this? I feel...angry ... and hurt? Clenching my first, I let my tears fell.

I...I just want him....

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

I looked away from the reflection as I turned off the tap.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

I heard the knock again. Walking out from the bathroom, I sense no presence of the alpha. There's no scent on him out of my room. Must be someone else.

Reluctantly, I opened the door.

"Minghao...oppa." I looked at him in puzzle. "Can I come in?" he asked me.

I really don't want to have any guest today. Really. But knowing it's Minghao oppa, I let him come into my room.

"You're okay, Y/n?" he asked me and I only nodded without saying a word. "What happen back there, Y/n?" he asked me again.

"Nothing."

"Nothing?"

I nodded, "Nothing." I repeated the words.

"If it's nothing, why would you want him to reject you?"

I was surprise when I heard his words. Did he heard us? But I made sure no one else heard it. "Minghao oppa..."

"I heard, Y/n. I heard." He looked straight at me. "But I want to hear it with your own words, no hints." Minghao said.

I'm dead! Can I trust him with this secret?

I asked myself as I looked at Minghao oppa.

What am I thinking? That's Minghao oppa. He's been nothing but kind to me. And I'm over here being extremely secretive.

Same goes with the other oppas. They were kind to me and yet I never once trust them with my secret. I'm a bad person.

With a light sigh, I looked at Minghao oppa. "I'll tell you. But please...don't tell anyone else...not even Taehee." "You can trust me, Y/n." Minghao gently took my hand in his.

I took a deep breath. "Alpha Jihoon is my mate."

Minghao POV

I watched as Y/n shifted into her wolf form. She looks pretty even in her wolf form. That's an advantage on an omega. Their beauty is out of this world.

I looked at the wolf in front of me. Her shining white fur glistening under the moonlight. It's been a while since I last meet this wolf.

Y/n came closer to me and nudge me with her snout. So I bent down and stroke her fur. "I'll shift and then we can go. Don't you worry. I'll keep you safe. I don't want your mate to kill me if anything happen to you." I said to her as I continued to stroke her fur and she seems to be enjoying it a lot.

For me, I still couldn't believe what she told me earlier.

"Alpha Jihoon is my mate."

"When does this happen?"

She frowned, "You're not....uhm...you didn't find it...weird?"

"Weird? Why?"

"Because I'm an omega and he's an alpha."

"Y/n, mates happen to all wolves. Omega or not, we all deserve to be loved. It's not a taboo or whatsoever. Now tell me, when does this happen?"

"After my heat. I came home... and I noticed his scent and he ... was there too, expecting our arrival. After that, ... nothing else happen. We talked a bit... but that's it. I wanted him to reject me...because...he's an alpha...and he deserve someone better...maybe Minseo."

Minseo? This woman got to be kidding me. There's no way we would accept someone like Minseo to be our Luna.

I feel Y/n nudged my leg again. I snapped out of my thought, "Ah! Sorry. I'll shift now." So I shifted into my wolf form. Unlike any other omega who has white fur, beta like me usually has greyish fur and alpha usually have dark grey or almost black fur. Other wolves would usually have brown fur.

We went for a run for about an hour before we return back to the mansion. And it's already late at night so both of use decided to call it a day and went to our respective room.

This person POV

Since they have some works to do together, Jihoon, Minghao, Dino, Seungkwan, Mingyu and Joshua were in Jihoon's reading room. They are handling some paper work.

"So this one should be sent to the Nightwalkers pack right?" Seungkwan put aside some papers. Jihoon nodded, "Yes, and these too." He added a few more document to Seungkwan. "Give it to me later. I'll deliver it to them this evening." Joshua volunteered. "Thank you." Jihoon thanked him and he nodded.

"I guess that's it for today. I'll call you if we have something that to be discussed." Jihoon closed his file.

"Understand, alpha." They said in unison. One by one they got up and left Jihoon's reading room. Well everyone except someone.

Minghao.

Jihoon frowned at him, "Do you need anything else, beta?"

Minghao looked at him. "I know this is not my place to ask this but alpha, are you going to reject Y/n?"

Jihoon's eyes widened in surprise. "Did she-" "She told me already." Minghao answered even before Jihoon finish his words.

Jihoon sighed as he rubbed his forehead.

"So? Are you?" Minghao asked him. "Why are you asking me this, beta?" Jihoon suddenly turned fierce. He doesn't like the changes in Minghao's scent. His scent...he's in his defense mode.

"If you are going to reject her for real, then I'm going to make her my mate." Minghao said with straight face.

Jihoon clenched his fist. He feel his blood boiled. "What are you saying, Beta?" Jihoon bared his fangs and he even used his alpha voice on Minghao but he went against him. He's shaking inside but he needs to show the alpha that he wants the omega.

"I said..." Minghao closed his eyes and took a deep breath before he opened his eyes again and looked straight at Jihoon.

"I'm going to make her my mate."
