Chapter 14

Third person POV

The same evening, Taehee knocked on a certain door.

"Come in."

So she walked into the room after receiving that answer.

"Oh, Taehee. What's wrong?" Jihoon looked at her. "Where's that woman?" she asked. "Is she here?"

"No, she's not. She-" "Sorry but I don't need to know that. It's enough that I know she's not here." Taehee cut the alpha's word.

Jihoon sighed, "Taehee, I'm tired and have load of works. Can you just tell me what you need?"

"I don't think I need to tell you this but I have to or you'll just hate her more." Taehee said. "Her? Who?" "Y/n."

"Did she do anything weird or suspicious?" Jihoon eyed her. "No! I'm here just to let you know that she's not here at the moment. She's at the cottage." Taehee told Jihoon. "So she's having her heat huh?" Jihoon looked at her. "And why does this concern me, Taehee?" he asked.

"I don't want you to think she's doing something bad as she won't be around." She told him.

Jihoon narrowed his eyes at her. "What about her that you like so much, Taehee? And please don't tell me just because she's an omega like you."

"For the first reason is because she's not Minseo-"

Jihoon couldn't help but to roll his eyes.

"Second, she's kind and she's cheerful too. I couldn't help but want to stay close to her. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who feel this. The other oppas are feeling the same too. Maybe you should try to talk to her oppa. She's not that bad." Taehee said.

"We'll see."

One night, they were having dinner together; together with Minseo. But things are under control since she didn't talk about Y/n and how bad to be in the same room with the omega. Everything seems just fine until one of the males spoke.

"Ah, I miss Y/n!" Seungkwan said as he played with his food. "We all do, Seungkwan-ah." Joshua patted his back. "Uhm, for your record I don't." Minseo said. "Uhm, for your record you never been included in our 'we'." Taehee stabbed her fork on her steak.

"Princess." Dino gently took her hand and she calmed down for a moment. "She'll be back tomorrow. I'm going to fetch her." Taehee said. "I'll come with you. I miss her too." Mingyu said. "Me too. The house seems empty without her." Dino added.

Jihoon quietly chewed down his food. The boys are right. The house wasn't like before. It was a little bit quiet than usual. The boys are not as hyper and as happy as when Y/n is around. And Jihoon realised that now. He realised how Y/n's absence affect them.

*Maybe Taehee's right. They do want to stay close to her.* he thought.

"I'll get someone to get her room cleaned. She must want to rest well in her room tomorrow." Minghao said.

Minseo let out a groan. Jihoon snapped his head at her. "What's wrong with you, Minseo?" "Why are you treating her like some kind of a princess?" Minseo said. "You should know well how tired an omega can be after her heat, Minseo. Be considerate!" Jihoon sternly told her.

The others looked at Jihoon in amusement. The moment where Jihoon scolded Minseo will always be one of the rarest moment.

"Oppa...are you with them now? I thought you would on the same side as me." Minseo said. "I take no one's side, Minseo. I do what I feel right!" Jihoon then stood up. "Beta, give her another room to stay permanently. Make sure it's cleaned before she got back tomorrow. Taehee help him with her stuff." Jihoon looked at Beta Minghao before he looked at Taehee.
