'And he's the best fuck that ever walked. He's beautiful - rich, in money and everything else; he's a rockstar to boot, trapped in the body of a fighter. And how he fought; at a state of turmoil with himself - somewhere inside his soul that only she...

'I am the girl you know, can't look you in the eye I am the girl you know, so sick I cannot try And I am the one you want, can't look you in the eye I am the girl, you know I lie, I lie and lie
I'm miss world, somebody kill me Kill me pills No one cares, my friends I'm miss world, watch me break and watch me burn No one is listening, my friend Now I've made my bed, I'll lie in it I've made my bed, I'll die in it I've made my bed, I'll lie in it I've made my bed, I'll die in it'
Hera had been in a daze all day, barely cognizant of her surroundings as the Gryffindor students opened their presents in the common room. It was somewhat suffocating the sheer amount of people who had stayed this year — there wasn't a foot of space between each person's pile of presents, which made for a very chaotic Christmas morning.

The Twins had gifted her a large batch of their latest joke products should she ever find herself in a situation she needs to get out of. Hera regarded it with caution, making a mental note not to confuse the Ton-Tongue Toffees with regular toffees.
Katie had given Hera a load of cassette mixtapes they'd made a few summers ago while staying on that beach in Cornwall, along with some heart-shaped sunglasses and earth-toned flannels.
Alicia had somehow found Hera's favourite lipstick and bought dozens of it for her, a vintage patch jacket and a cool-toned pearl necklace she'd had her eye on months back in Hogsmeade.
Lee had — jokingly — bought her a child's practise broom so someone could, at last, teach her. His actual present had been some chocolate liqueurs and some pranking supplies to go with the Twins' gifts.
