'Remember when you were young,
you shone like the sun
Shine on you crazy diamond
Now there's a look in your eyes,
like black holes in the sky
Shine on you crazy diamond
You were caught on the crossfire
of childhood and stardom
Blown on the steel breeze
You reached for the secret too soon,
you cried for the moon

Shine on you crazy diamond
Threatened by shadows at night,
and exposed in the light
Shine on you crazy diamond
Well you wore out your welcome
with random precision
Rode on the steel breeze
Come on you seer of visions, you painter,
you piper, you prisoner, and shine'

"Does she hate me?" Harry asked his sister at Ange's burning, reproachful looks.

Hera shrugged, smiling pointedly at her friend, hoping she would ease up a bit with him,
"Only a little — but she'll get over it, "

The common room was packed and full of shrieks of laughter and excitement; Fred and George were demonstrating their latest bit of joke shop merchandise.

"Headless Hats!" George shouted as Fred waved a pointed hat decorated with a fluffy pink feather at the watching students,
"Two Galleons each — watch Fred, now!"

Fred swept the hat onto his head, beaming.
For a second, he merely looked rather stupid, then both hat and head vanished.

Several girls screamed, but everyone else was roaring with laughter.

"And off again!" George shouted, Fred's hand groping for a moment in what seemed to be thin air over his shoulder; his head then reappeared as he swept the pink-feathered hat from it again.

"Well, " Ange said dully, pulling off her cloak and throwing it onto a vacated corner,
"we've replaced you, " she said to Harry.

"Oh, thank God, I thought you were talking about me!" Hera joked.

Harry's expression grew blank,
"Replaced me?" he asked.

"You and Fred and George, " she said impatiently, "We've got another Seeker!"

"Who?" Hera asked keenly, having noticed how displeased Harry looked.

"Ginny Weasley, " Katie added, Hera turning around to greet her properly for the first time that night. They held hands on the sofa, with Katie leaning on the space behind her head.
