'I don't wanna feel no more
It's easier to keep fallin'
Imitations are pale
Emptiness all tomorrows
Haunted by your ghost
Lay down
Black gives way to blue
Lay down
I'll remember you'

Fading out by design
Consciously avoiding changes
Curtain's drawn, now it's done
Silencing all tomorrows
Forcing a goodbye
Lay down
Black gives way to blue
Lay down
I'll remember you'

Though Hera never quite understood why her parents had kept her a secret from their friends, she could understand why they hadn't exposed her to the world as it was very similar to the hell she was going through now.

As with a lot of things, you never understand certain things until you've lived through it; unfortunately for Hera, this happened to be one of those things.
There were a few short weeks following Cedric's death where Hera had thought herself to be pregnant. She wasn't, of course, but she'd somehow ingrained the idea into her brain that by the time her period did come, she felt as though she had lost the final part of Cedric.

Even if she had been pregnant, Hera knew it would've been cruel to bring a child into the world when it's in such disarray, but the smallest part of her wished it had been true...
Hera never told her friends what she had thought — something that turned out for the best, as it had never been true. Even for them, it felt far too personal; and you couldn't blame her. She had been set on thinking that was the last she had of Cedric; it was no wonder she wanted to keep that dream alive while she could.

Maybe that's what her parents had been thinking at the time — with all the chaos and collusion; it made perfect sense that they wanted to live years ahead of themselves, cling onto what they imagined would be a lifetime together...
