Dear Journal,

One week until the babies are due. I am absolutely thrilled! I'm also terrified... Madison both reassured me and scared me with her advice. The nursery is filled with toys and other stuff for when they arrive. Mattéo and I have yet to pick out names yet and I think we'll wait until they're born. Just like we're waiting to see what the gender is... I wonder what it'll be... sons or daughters... I can't wait!

The only problem is that I am so massive that I can hardly walk without help from someone. I hate being this dependent on someone, even if it is my husband, the love of my life. I've never been this dependent on someone, not once in my life. Luckily I'll be back on my feet about a week after the birth at the latest.

Both Mattéo and I are thinking we'll be having girls due in part to our genetic history. My family has generally had more daughters than sons. Though it is not impossible to have sons it is more likely that we'll be having baby girls.

Knock! Knock!

"Who is it?"

"It's me Josey!" Mattéo calls through the door.

"Oh come in Mattéo!"

He opened the door as I closed my journal.

"Is it supper time?"

He nodded, "I'm here to escort my lovely wife to the dining room,"

I waddled towards him.

"I will take your offer then!"

I was bloody starved!

Mattéo took my hand and carefully led me down the hall.

"Careful Mrs. Penguin!" He snickered.

"Shut up!" I cried out, "I'm trying here!"

"I know! It's just so funny to see you walk!"

I glared at him, "Ha ha you are so funny!" I snapped sarcastically.

We soon arrived in the dining room as the guest room was very close by. The table was set with many delicate meats and vegetables. It looked heavenly!

"Ooh delicious!" I clapped my hands together like a little girl.

"I think the chefs outdo themselves every day!" Mattéo agreed with me.

The nobles were already at the table, along with Victoria. Mattéo guided me over before carefully sitting me down. He sat down a few seats away from me. Lord Trondheim stood up and held up his glass of wine.

"Lord God, Heavenly Father, bless us and these Thy gifts which we receive from Thy bountiful goodness. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."

"Amen," The rest of us simultaneously.

However, before I could even take a bite, I felt something. A gushing feeling between my legs. Followed by a sharp, yet brief pain. Oh my god. That's... that's a contraction! My water broke! Oh my god! They're coming... now!!!

"Mattéo... we need to go... now..."

Mattéo looked over at me peculiarly, not understanding my expression.

"Go where? What's wrong?"

"Mattéo! The- the twins... they're coming now!"

"What!?" He shot up and rushed over to me.

He saw the small puddle of fluid on the floor near my seat and my seething pain. He, having studied extra hard, knew what was happening.

"Oh scheisse!" He exclaimed in fear, "Someone call a doctor, we need to get her to the hospital!"
