Gunshot.

After that gunshot, I didn't open my eyes. I didn't need to open my eyes this time to see what had happened. Tears were slipping from my closed eyes. I was unable to move. I had suffered the greatest losses of my life tonight. First Hugo and then probably Ava. My brain still hoped there was the slightest chance she's alive. I sensed that something was wrong. Antonio was quiet which was very tough to accept. Then I heard Antonio's voice. He sounded like he was groaning in pain. I opened my eyes very very slowly. I saw Antonio was bleeding very badly, lying on the floor. Ava was also on the floor but was alive.

"James.", I heard a deep, masculine but very very familiar voice behind.

I turned my head and my eyes exploded. My brain couldn't process what it was seeing. I couldn't speak anything. I opened my mouth but I couldn't speak at all.

Standing in front of me was my and my sister's savior (It wasn't Lucas this time). This man was taller than Lucas. He was dressed just like the last time I saw him, in a grey pinstriped suit with a white overcoat. A white hat sat on his head but that didn't stop me from that extremely handsome yet dangerous face.

"Hello, Jamie.", he said.

Now I was sure. No one on the planet would call me that, except for the man we had long given up for dead. He was no one other than my very own uncle, John Harvey.

"Uncle John?", I said in extreme disbelief.

He smiled knowingly and then helped me up. I checked on Ava. She must have fainted. I looked at him. He hadn't changed at all. Before I could ask him anything, I heard a faint groan. I saw Antonio struggling hard to get up on his feet. Anger and hatred boiled deep inside my veins. I searched for my gun on the floor and bent down to retrieve it. Uncle John just stood next to me and didn't say anything. When I raised my gun, he didn't stop me.

"Go ahead kid, shoot me..", Antonio said in pain but he was interrupted by a gunshot.

I had shot Antonio on a point below the knee. He groaned madly in pain.

"There you go.", I said.

"Finish him, Jamie.", Uncle John said.

I looked him in the eye. He nodded. I raised my gun but then I stopped.

I turned towards him and said, "I'll shoot but first you'll explain to me where you were for the past more than a half year."

Uncle John smiled apologetically, "I will do that but kill him first.

"He isn't going anywhere. Now tell me.", I demanded.

"Okay, I notice that you've turned to be really stubborn. But fine, I am telling you this but you have to promise me that you're not telling this to anyone.", he replied.

"Yeah, I promise you I won't tell this to anyone except...", My voice trailed off.

"Except?", he demanded, a dangerous tone in his edge.

"I can't even tell Ava or maybe Grandpa?", I asked.

"No, especially not them or someone who knows me.", He said sharply.

"Noted, now please tell me.", I told him impatiently.

"I had easily survived the attack in our house back then but I had to make sure Antonio believed that I was dead. When he was sure that I had died, I began to make plans to destroy him. I couldn't come here because I could trust no one, James. I know it makes you feel sad but I wasn't only tracking Antonio, I was doing something bigger. Far more important than this idiot.", He continued as he pointed towards the half-dead Antonio Lane, "I was also tracking Ivan Volkovich."
