AAHHH MORE THAN 200K READS! What happened? You guys are seriously the best, it felt like yesterday I was started the book and I was happy with 100 reads so to get over 200 thousand is like unreal and I seriously don't know what to say except thank you and thank you for supporting me and the book it doesn't matter if you've read one chapter or all of them or commented once or still feel nervous to talk to me because I love you all

To say thank you I'm going to start working on a one-shot that I think you will enjoy but for now, you're going to have to put up with this chapter that I started working on a few days ago

Thank you all again and to all those who comment regularly and interact with me you all have a piece of my heart for getting this book to where it is today because I couldn't imagine it would ever get this big

MIST:

"Perce have you met Ariel?" A child's voice drifts to my ears

I found myself smiling as I wipe the ice cream that has dribbled down my son Kai's chin and onto his bib. It was a nice day and so I had decided to take my toddler to the park and about five minutes into the walk, Kai started babbling about ice cream so I decided to get him one but of course because he was still a toddler when he grabbed ahold of the ice cream after I had given it to him, it ended up smeared all over his face and hands ending up dribbling down his chin

"No, she's just something that Disney made up. She isn't actually my niece" A boy, a lot older than her stated causing me to frown in confusion but not for long as I know kids just tend to babble on about the most ridiculous things. It could be something from a story she had heard at school to a dream she had and she believes it to be real and the poor boy is just playing along

"Oh" The little girl pouts, tears welling up in her eyes as she gets ready to cry

"Come on little starfish, everything is okay, I told you when you're older and mom lets you. I'll take you on a sea adventure and that way you can meet everyone" The boy, who I'm assuming was named Percy said as he knelt down in front of the girl, taking her hands in his own "I promise you when you're old enough you will be a real princess, everyone will bow down to Estelle Jackson!"

"I don't want to be a princess, I want to learn how to swordfight, Tyson said when I'm older he would fashion me a sword and you could teach me how to use it!" The girl, Estelle strops as she crosses her arms over her chest

"Did he now?" Percy asked, his gaze sliding over to a boy who seems to tower over him

The boy immediately blushes and I'm taken aback for a second, he doesn't seem like the type to blush easily but my attention is diverted by Kai, who immediately grabs my attention by trying to grab at my sunglasses with his chubby little fists and I uncurl his fingers and take them off my glasses so they didn't crack or break and blow raspberries in his direction which makes Kai gurgle although my attention is on my son I can still hear the conversation taking place between what I assume is three siblings

"Sorry, brother!" The other one said, his big voice surprisingly soft for how tall and big he looked and he sounded guilty and disappointed as if he didn't want to let Percy down "The little starfish asked me and I couldn't say no! She is family! I like family"

"It's okay Big Guy, I'm not mad," Percy replied softly, slapping the boy on the back in a brotherly way before he continued "It's probably just best if we don't tell Sally"

"Mom would be very disappointed in me..."

"No, no Big Guy she wouldn't. I just don't think she just doesn't want Estelle to learn how to swordfight until she's a little bit older...Maybe like sixteen or something" Percy explains and I frown in confusion, a question rising and catching in my throat before I could spout it out it would be a little rude of me, after all, they were having a conversation that just resulted in the three of them and I wasn't a part of that. I was just a stranger to them

But sue me I was curious

"Mama tired!" Kai whined and I nodded my head pulling the hood over the stroller to give him some protection from the sun, before giving him water in a sippy cup and once I did he gave it back to me reaching for something and that's when I swapped the cup for a binky placing it in his mouth and watch and he curled up in order to go to sleep

Now that Kai was asleep, I was able to turn my attention back towards the three siblings (while still keeping a watchful eye on Kai) and watch as the black-haired boy that looks that he spent all his time at the beach put his little sister on his shoulders, swinging her over his shoulder and the one that towered over them, held her hand and began to tell her all about different sea creatures some that just sounded made up

How deep does the fantasy that the three siblings made up go?

"Percy, can we get ice cream?" Estelle asked, gripping his hair in order to get his attention

"What do we say little star?" Percy asked stopping but it was clear he was going to get her ice cream anyway as children turn into little nightmares if they don't get a  sugary treat while they're doing something out of their regular routine (especially on a hot day) not that I blame the poor girl it was hot and ice cream did sound good right about now

But before I could get up with the stroller and actually go and get the ice cream I so desired, my phone buzzed and I saw a text message from my wife, who had been taking the day to relax as I told her she was working too hard and she finally agreed with me and took the day off, but it seemed that she had found a loophole in my words and managed to cook dinner  Dinners, ready babe! What time you back?

I smile as I sent a text message back saying that we just leaving and that setting the table was a good idea because I was absolutely starving and I hope she made her famous pasta with the sauce she knows I like. It was a joke obviously as we both know I would eat anything she put in front of me. She was that good a cook!

"Pleasseeeee?" Estelle begged

As I pass them pushing the stroller towards the gate, I leant closer to where they were and speak to the girl as I pass and didn't miss the way that her brothers wrapped her in a protective embrace and looked at me through narrowed eyes but all I did was smile"You have good brothers sweetheart. Take care of them and they'll take care of you"

"I know" She bobbed her head up and down "Bye-bye nice lady"

"Bye sweetheart and don't eat that ice cream too fast!" I told her as I left
