Piper looked out towards the nearing land, she could see figures waiting on the land looking up at the flying ship that the small Latino boy who can light himself on fire crafted from spare pieces of wood lying around Camp Half Blood -- a camp for demigods just like her

Camp Half Blood was smaller than Camp Jupiter but Piper couldn't shake the feeling that Camp Half Blood felt more homely, she couldn't see herself living here permanently like Jason did, she just didn't know how he did it

She peered towards Annabeth whose eyes were searching the growing crowd for her. boyfriend and Piper's heart clenched at how in love the two teenage demigod appeared to be although she had never met Percy face to face she had heard stories of his bravery and how he would sacrifice himself to save a friend and to top it off she would have never have guessed that the hero she had heard about in the stories -- was blind.

As soon as she spotted her boyfriend through the crowd Annabeth jumped and ran over to the rope ladder which Jason had just put out in order for them to get off the flying ship (as Annabeth had negotiated with a statue that they could stay here and wouldn't  be killed unless they parked in the waves). The blonde daughter of Athena jumped down the last few rungs of the ladder excited to  be  reunited with her boyfriend and Piper along with Leo Vadelz, a son of Hepatitis and Jason Grace, a son of Jupiter which was the Roman form of Zeus along with his sister Thalia Grace, a daughter of Zeus although she is Jason's full blooded sister and a violent daughter of Ares, Clarrise LaRue, trailing behind the excited blonde 

Annabeth rushed forward knocking people out of the way as she attempted to get to the boy that Piper had heard so much about Percy Jackson, she didn't like him in the romantic way after all she only thought of him like an older brother and she had yet to meet him besides. she thought Annabeth and Percy were cute from the stories she heard about them from her mother's cabin and wouldn't dare break them up 

Nearly everyone glared at Annabeth but she didn't seem to notice or care and a girl with caramel  hair and a purple togo her eyes narrowed at Annabeth and she looked like she wanted to hurt her but Jason stepped in between them speaking to the crowd "Greetings fellow Romans, we come in peace! I am Jason Grace, son of Jupiter former praetor of the First Legion. We have come to seek an alliance between Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter"

The girl with the purple togo spoke "I am Reyna Avilla Ramirez-Arellano, daughter of Ballona and praetor of the Twelfth Legion" she then looks to Percy as if to say introduce yourself 

Percy nods stiffly before saying never quite locking eyes with Reyna but getting close "I am Percy Jackson, son of Neptune" Piper saw Annabeth's face fall as her boyfriend introduced herself as a son of Neptune as he must not remember who she is or who we were "And I am praetor of the Twelve Legion" He continued 

"No you know who we are, can we know who you are?"

Annabeth didn't bother obeying Reyna's request and marched straight towards her raven haired  boyfriend with a look of determination and fury that made Piper take a few steps back in fear of what the child of wisdom may do. Quickly and swiftly before anyone had the chance to blink Annabeth had grabbed ahold of her boyfriend's wrist and flipped him over her shoulder causing Piper to wince in sympathy as she went to diffuse the situation but before she could she heard the sound  of booming laughter 

"I miss you too Wise Girl"

"You left me for eight months!" She yelled at him

"C'mon Annabeth, its not like I left you on purpose" He pleaded 

"No that was stupid Hera's fault" 

Annabeth had muttered it under her breath so it was too quiet for anyone but Piper to hear considering she was standing next to the fiery blonde and Piper had to use her hand to muffle the snicker that nearly left her mouth, the reunited couple may have not noticed the gawking they were getting from the Roman crowd but Jason did and awkwardly stepped in "This is Annabeth ... She doesn't usually judo flip people"

The Romans laughed a little finding humour in Jason's joke and Piper relaxed a little knowing that they didn't immediately hate them and that that could work as. an advantage towards them while they figure out a plan at how they were going to unite the two camps and she watched as Annnabeth helped Percy to his feet and steadied him a little and the daughter of love took this opportunity to study the hero Percy Jackson, he didn't look blind with his black as night hair and mischievous green eyes and trouble making grin Piper wouldn't have known that the teenager in front of her was blind let alone a hero of two wars and Piper watched after Percy made another wise crack about his and Annabeth relationship the Roman's went back  to their usual routines 

Leo however jumped at the chance to meet Percy sticking out his hand and Piper was sure that it had a mortal electric shocker embedded into his palm but before she could tell Leo to knock it off he was already speaking "Hello, I'm Leo Vadelz"

"I'm Percy Jackson but I assume you already know that" He flashed a grin before continuing "I'm sorry but you're going to have to excuse me if I don't shake your hand as I don't want to be electrocuted again I've have been electrocuted enough to last me a lifetime thanks to  my favourite cousin Thalia AKA Pinecone Face"

Leo's face fell as he didn't get to suck Percy into one of his tricks. Piper heard Clarrise and Thalia laugh from behind her and smiled warmly as she heard giggling coming from the fierce blonde warrior as Percy had attempted to kiss Annabeth's nose "That's my nose, Seaweed Brain" She told him

"Oh" Percy muttered flushing a red colour

Annabeth then directed Percy's lips to hers and held onto the sides of his face like if she let go he would disappear and Piper didn't blame the blonde they had been apart for eight months and she couldn't imagine how hard it must have been for them both but in that moment Piper didn't think about the foreboding war or how the teenagers in front of her had been apart for eight. months

No, she just saw two people very much in love
