"Damian, laya ka na."

I don't know what happened because I remember that I was sentenced to 15 years in prison... and now, I'm finally free.

I don't really trust law. Bullshit.

I went out and I saw Master Lee, smoking as he smirked at me.

I took a deep breath and walked towards him. "It was you," I said, not asking.

He smirked again. He threw his cigarette away. "Ano ngayon kung ako? Ang mahalaga, laya ka na!" He laughed.

Pumalad ako. "I'll drive."

He gave me my key so I went in my car. Seryoso akong nagmamaneho at umigting ang panga ko nang maalala ang mga nangyari sa akin.

My whole life was a bullshit.

"Umamin kang ikaw ang pumatay, Ice... kung hindi... papatayin ko ang mahal mong ina."

"Villegas that darn jerk!" Malakas akong napabusina. Kulang na lang ay suntukin ko ang bintana dahil sa galit ko.

I stopped in front of my house. Agad akong pumasok sa cr para maligo. I'm thinking how to kill those two.

I ran my hand through my hair. The water keeps falling all over my body. Now that I'm back, I'll protect my mom.

Pagkatapos kong suotin ang itim na bathrobe ay lumabas akong pinupunasan ang buhok ko. Nagulat ako dahil nakita ko si Mommy na papalapit sa akin. She didn't age. My mom is beautiful as fuck.

"Mom," I said and hugged her.

"Thank God..." She cried silently so I pat her back to comfort her.

"I'll protect you, Mom."

She faced me and caressed my face. She was still crying so I wiped hear tears away. "I thought you would rot in jail. Don't leave me again, son..."

"Stop crying, Mrs. Collins," I said and she laughed.

Tanggap kong ikinasal siya sa iba dahil iyon naman ang makapagpapasaya sa kanya. And good thing that my step-father accepted my mom after hearing her past.

Bahagya siyang lumayo sa akin. She opened the rectangular box. Bumungad sa akin ang isang gold necklace.

"This is for you, this is me, this is your mom, Ice..." she said as she put the gold necklace around my neck. "If I'm not by your side, if we're apart, if I'm not at the times when you're in the worst part of your life... think of this necklace as me." She caressed my face after she put the necklace around my neck.

Niyakap ko siya. She's my only family and I don't want to lose her.

She cooked for me, took care of me and told me what was going on in her life. Nakakahinga na ako nang maluwag dahil alam kong masaya na siya pagkatapos ng bangungot na nangyari sa kanya.

Kinabukasan ay lumabas ako. I just want to get some fresh air. Ito ang unang labas ko mula sa kulungan. I can't believe that I was in jail for six goddamn years.

Pumasok ako sa coffee shop at inilabas ang vape ko. Pagkatapos kong um-order ng kape ay kinuha ko ang dyaryo na nakapatong sa lamesa.

Mas lalong sumeryoso ang mukha ko nang mabasa ang balita.
