Was it just me
Or did anyone else
Have those snowglobes
Not the cheesy souvenir ones
But the ones you've had since forever
Ones that had prayers on the bottom
From aunts
Or grandmas
Telling you that they cared for you
Ones with lullaby songs whenever you turned them on
Or expensive ones
That are based off of movies
And had the theme song play
In a calming way
I loved to watch the glitter fall
After shaking it up
I always wanted
To see glitter from the sky
How nice would that be
You've been shaken up
Your world turned upside down
And you don't know what to do
Everything sucks
And the blood is rushing to your head
But then someone
Puts you on your feet again
Right side up
And glitter falls from the sky
Letting you know
It's alright
