Sugary
Too sugary
Too sweet
For my liking;
I've always known
That I had a sweet tooth
That's why you can always find me in
Cafes and bakeries
Always the local ones
The mom and pop ones
Where you get the best deals
And sweetest tasting cookies
That are to die for
You were
Sweet
Like the sugar cookies
With the best glazed frosting
But
After awhile
You were too sweet
To handle
I can't live
Off of sugar and frosting
Alone
I need
Other flavors
But you were just one
Sweet
And as dreamy
And perfect
As that may sound
I couldn't handle you
Your kisses
Gave me cavities
I needed you
