Misty Mornings

The way

Dewdrops

Cling to the grass blades

And your breath

Makes little clouds

In the air

These misty mornings

Always bring

A chill

Down my spine

Making me

Tighten my jacket

Spiderwebs

Are masterpieces

Each strand

Highlighted by the mist

And dew

Even if

It isn't autumn

Leaves will crunch

Under your boots

A scarf

Wrapped around my face

And a hat

On my head

These misty mornings

Waiting for the bus

Are always peaceful

The crickets

Still hum

And the birds

Are just beginning

To sing

These misty mornings

Make me wanna Stay
