There's so many kinds
Of fish tanks
Tall
Octagonal ones
Or simple
One gallon rectangles
That don't require a filter
Ones that are inserted in the wall
For me
I'll just settle
For one of those cheap five gallon tanks
Nothing too special
Nothing too fancy
Just good enough
For my betta fish
As angry as he may be
He's mesmerizing to watch
Dancing under
LED lights
Putting on a show
For the food I give him
I don't need much
Just as long
As I can keep my betta fish
Happy
And content
Don't need the tall
Or wide
Or outrageously large tanks
Just something small
Nothing cramped
He doesn't need anything too fancy
Maybe a plant to keep him happy
All these requests
Make me realize
Perhaps someone requested that for me
Nothing too big
Nothing too cramped
Just enough to keep
Her content
Just enough to keep her from becoming depressed
She doesn't need anything special
Not in this town
