"Dream Free"

At this age, I am determined to give my everything.

..or maybe giving too much?

"Shua!" My best friend-slash-dormmate, Jun, called me. "Let's eat outside?" He asked, feeling giddy.

"I think... I can't. I have to study. Sorry, I'll go with you next time!" I smiled. 

"You always say that.." 

"I'm sorry I really have to study more. I need to pass the-"

"Shua."

"-you know mom and dad's going to be happy-"

"Joshua!!"

"Sorry.." He sighed.

"You know.." Jun sat beside me and patted my back. "Sometimes you need to free yourself a bit okay? I know you have dreams and goals to achieve. I understand that. But don't drown yourself with studies. It's okay to take a break, hmm?"

I just nodded, agreeing.

"But can I stay here? I really want to study tho.." I asked, as I fiddled my fingers.

Jun just sighed, then just chuckled at my stubbornness.

YES I KNOW I'M STUBBORN. I'M SORRY??

"Fine, if that what makes you happy. Just remember to enjoy okay?" He said as I nodded again in response. "Let's eat together. I'll just buy ingredients then just cook it here"

"Buy me coffee please?"

He raised his eyebrow then lent his hand. "Your money sir?"

"Oh come on, you're the one who's rich here!"

"Says the one who just bought a whole big bag of fries yesterday"

"Then don't ask for some-"

"As if I'll help you cook them"

I just pouted as he punched me lightly at my shoulder.

"Eyy, fine." I laughed as I handed him my money.

"I'll be back, don't miss me too much!"

"Yuck."

"Ew."

He just giggled as he went out.

I went back to my study table to read for a bit, until I felt drowsyness taking over me.

I woke up to a sound like someone is trying to throw stones at our window.

I stood up, rubbing my eyes as I went to check what was it.

No one.

I just shrugged and went back to my table to continue studying. I even feel asleep a while ago. Jun hasn't came back yet. What even time is it? Good thing I don't have classes until tomorrow.

I was already concentrating when a stone hit the window.

"What the-"

I stood up and checked the window, and there was no one!

I went back to my table again as I start to mumble things. "I swear Moon Junhui if this is you I'll kick you out."

"What if its me?"

I was startled as I heard someone's voice from the window.

My eyes widen when I saw a man- a handsome man at my age, sitting by my window.
