"Paper Rings"

Five years of Jeonghan being with Seungcheol, five years of the latter giving the former paper rings every anniversary.

On the day of their 6th anniversary, Jeonghan wonders if he'll be giving him a paper ring again.

I think he will.

Jeonghan smiled softly at the thought of his partner giving him another paper ring.

Both of them are already adults with a stable job, their love for each other are also stable.

It's not possible for a couple to not fight and have misunderstandings when they're in a relationship. And Seungcheol and Jeonghan is one of the couples who can prove that.

They have been through many hardships, many misunderstandings, but both of them went through that. Big or small. For them, love, communication and being open-minded is the key.

Jeonghan is at his work, busy typing on his computer. Him and Seungcheol greeted each other a happy 6th anniversary as soon as they woke up on the phone, but the latter didn't say anything about their plans for the day.

They both agreed to work for a half-day before Seungcheol going to pick Jeonghan up from his office.

Jeonghan looked at his watch, and only a few minutes until lunch. He stood up from his seat before stretching up his body, to fix his things and get ready to go. 

As soon as he walked out his office, one of his co-workers, Jun, approached him and gave him a white rose. Jeonghan stared at him with confusion as Jun winked at him and walked away without saying anything.

As he go a few rooms farther from his own office another co-worker of him, Dino, also approached him with another white rose. He just smiled at Jeonghan before walking away, leaving Jeonghan in a clueless state.

Jeonghan received more white roses as he walk to the exit of the building. He already got a hunch on what's happening as soon as a third, fourth, and fifth person also gave him white roses as he passed by.

But Jeonghan being Jeonghan, he chose to ignore it and just enjoy what is happening, going with the flow.

He already received the 12th white roses as he stepped outside the building. By the time he looked beside him, his boyfriend was already there, standing beside his car while holding a single red rose for Jeonghan. 

Seungcheol opened the door of the front seat for Jeonghan. "Cheesy, Choi Seungcheol" Jeonghan whispered at his ear before entering the car which caused the other to giggle.

"And you love me for that, Yoon Jeonghan" He replied cheekily before shutting the door and made his way to the driver's seat, making Jeonghan snort and just shook his head.

"What do you wanna eat?" Seungcheol asked as he started the engine. "Anything would do," He nodded at his boyfriend's reply.

"...Actually, nevermind. I'm kinda craving for some fried chicken right now," Jeonghan added as he fiddle his fingers on his lap.

Seungcheol laughed as he rested his hand on the other's thigh as he drive, "Anything for my baby."

They drove to Jeonghan's favorite chicken place; nothing fancy, just enjoying each other's presence with the food that will satisfy them is enough for the both of them to be happy. 

"So, what are your plans for today?" Jeonghan asked as they started to dig in their food.

"Nothing much, really. Where do you want to go?" Seungcheol replied as he looked fondly at Jeonghan eating who seemed to really enjoy the bucket of chicken in front of them.
