The members were sitting together in a room with their manager and staff.

They had just finished their tour and were back at the dorms to rest.

They all had put everything in the performance, but someone wasn't quite impressed with it.

''I'm sorry to say everyone. But this tour you couldn't reach my expectations.''

All of them tensed at this.

''Jimin and V your vocals weren't that stable. RM and Jin you weren't energetic enough with the dance moves. Suga you need to work more on the breathing, you weren't stable enough.''

''Are we not even supposed to breathe now.'' the girl rolled her eyes and Jungkook beside her huffed.

''Jungkook and Jhope, I noticed you messed up choreographies here and there, you both are in the dance line focus more and lastly... Miya.'' he sighed.

The girl just looked at him waiting for the lecture.

''You were just... I don't know, what is wrong? You were lacking in almost everything.'' he looked at her his gaze lingering. ''If you keep going this way I don't think this is going to last.''

Miya swallowed in all the words she was going to roast him from considering he was older than her but what he said next crossed the boundaries.

"Who chose you guys..." The manager mumbled to himself but if course his intention was for them to hear.

Everyone stayed quite, until someone spoke up.

"If you think it's so easy to do then why don't you try it?" The youngest spoke gazing up to the man.

"What did you say?" He squinted his eyes, feeling offended as ever.

"I said if you think that being an idol is so easy, why don't you practice for almost 10 hours a day without break, then stay extra midnight to go through the steps again, without water or food breaks in between. Do you even know what else we have sacrificed to reach here?" She stood up face to face to him.

"You have a wife and children who you meet every single day your shift is over and you go home. But us? We are so busy into work that we don't get to meet our family or friends for months. We go on strict diets to satisfy your expectations. We put extra energy so that the concert remains in their heads like it was the best time of their life. I don't think that they are this complaining like you cause they understand that we work hard a lot even though they don't notice us daily. But you? You are always on our heels and you still think that we didn't reach your expectations? Sorry to break it to you sir but we don't perform to satisfy your expectations but to make it a memorable time for the numerous people out there."

The man just stood there staring at her.

The other seven stood up beside her, sure they wanted to object to whatever he was saying but their etiquettes didn't let them.

"Are you telling me how to do my work? Girl how old even are you? What do you even know about work?" The manager still spoke, his ego getting the best of him.

"Excu--" Namjoon got cut off.

"You think I don't know what's work? How much time have you been working here? 2 years? 3 years? I have been working here since 5 years. You think I don't know work? I almost gave up studying to follow my dreams, I stepped into a totally different world away from my family to follow my dreams. I literally made a career in something that I had no knowledge about. And I have came to this. You think I don't know work? Just because you are elder than me doesn't mean you are supposed to have more experience. I have went through dozens of things, hate, embarrassment, attacks, hard times. What do you had to go through? Nothing. Hell you couldn't even protect me from that woman who attacked me. What kind of manager are you?"

This made the man speechless.

"What? Cat got your tongue Mr. I know everything? Got no other points? You don't get to decide what our end will be. It's in our hands. So it's better if you do the work you are assigned and paid for. Okay?" She looked him in the eye.

"Okay everyone go rest you have all done a really good work." The girl announced to the other staff standing in the room.

Everyone started exiting the room until the two of them were left.

"You were supposed to say this. But I did. Feels like I'm the one doing the job instead of you. It would be better if you focus on yourself before you judge others." She looked him up and down then left the room.
