"I'm not going to sneak you into my house while my parents are gone, Mekhi!"

"I'm not gone stay long, I just need to edit the footage for the project and I don't have a laptop. It won't be long Saida, I'll be out by the time your folks get back."

"But why would I do that when you can just do it at school, there's a computer lab there you know?" I asked and he just kept walking to wherever he was going.

"Because.." He trailed off.

"Because what?"

"Because I'm outside ya crib, Saida." He stared down at the camera and my eyes widened.

"You're what?"

"Outside ya crib, let me in so I can do this project."

"Have you lost your mind?!"

"Mind and marbles, yes ma'am." He nodded. "It's getting cold out here, you gone let me in or what?"

"You—" I sat my phone down on the bed before looking out of my window, seeing him waving up at me. "You're an ass, I hope you know this."

He didn't respond he just smiled at the camera and I hung up and tossed it on my bed before putting on my slippers and leaving out of my room, going to open up the front door.

"About time," He started walking up the steps and I held my hand out. "Oh?"

"If you ever, and I mean ever show up to my house again out of nowhere I will leave you where you were, got it?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Great," I stepped back and let him in. "Go to the first door on the right."

"What if I had to pee?"

"Hold it."

"Alrighty," He held his hands up. I looked around outside and made sure none of my neighbors were outside before shutting the door and locking it back.

I counted in my head before going into my room seeing Mekhi already comfortable as hell, sprawled out in my bed while on his phone.

"Why are you laying like that?" I shut the door behind me.

"My fault," He leaned up. "Closing the door, huh? Wanky,"

"My door is always closed, don't hype yourself up."

"I'm not, I'm not. Just saying."

"Mhm." I walked towards my closet and grabbed my laptop along with the camera before getting comfortable on the bed and giving him the stuff.

"Saida Mariam Saadiq, you must've lost your mind!" Hearing my mother's voice made my eyes shoot open.

I didn't respond to her, instead I was frantically tapping Mekhi who was sleeping beside me and he was not budging.

"Wrong time to be a heavy sleeper, asshole." I whispered before slapping his chest.
