Owned Hearts

It's been a month since I started working as a sales lady, kontento naman ako sa ganitong trabaho dahil alam kong mahirap nang maghanap ng trabaho, at hindi ako pwedeng mawalan ng trabaho at manatili sa bahay, maghintay ng tawag dahil may anak ako.

"Good morning Ma'am, lipstick for you Ma'am I suggest this shade, it's the new relea----," I was cut off when she face me and say, "Alam ko ang bibilhin ko," sambit ng customer kaya lumayo ako ng konti at ngumiti.

"Ok ma'am" I utter and let her choose by herself, she keeps on trying some tester lipstick, every shade, and type but she still didn't choose, so I try to speak to help her, "Ma'am want me to help you po?" I ask.

But instead of letting me help her she glared at me, padabog niyang binitawan ang lips stick na kanyang hawak bago pumunta sa power and foundation section. I just purse my lips and just let it be, I think she's not in a good mood.

Babalik na sana ako sa pwesto ko ng mapansin kong palingon lingon yong babae kanina, I slowly walk to the edge of my lipstick section to look at her, and watch what she is doing, she suspiciously walks to the palette section where there is no sales lady standing and act differently.

I kept on watching her until she grabbed a palette and quickly put it in her bag, my eyes widened, and instantly walked towards her and grabbed her wrist. "Ma'am I think you put something in your bag." I utter and she instantly looked at me.

"Anong pinagsasasabi mo?!" galit niyang sambit at sinubukan tanggalin ang aking kamay sa ppagkakahawak sa kanya, pero hindi ako pumayag at magalang na nagsalita, "Ma'am I saw you taking a palette in your bag, now please let me check your bag," I said but she keeps moving.

"Louen ang nangyayari?" dumating na si Ace na nakaassign dito sa section na ito. She confusedly walked towards us and gave me those asking eyes. "She put one palette in her bag," I said.

"Hindi ko alam ang pinagsasabi mo ano ba bitawan mo ako!!!!" she started raising her voice, while trying to secure her bag from us. "Ma'am, please can we check your bag," I said and didn't let go of her.

"Sigurado ka ba El?" Tanong ni Ace at lumapit na din si Lendy sa amin, "I'm sure of it, I saw her stealing one" I said and tried to get her bag. But she moved aggressively and pushed me away, causing me to fall on the floor. "Ah!" inda ko ng tumama ang braso ko sa racks ng mga make up.

"Louen," sambit ni Ace at tinulungan ako tumayo, "Wala akong ninanakaw, sinungaling ka!!!" the lady shouted, and our boss stepped out of her office to check us up, "What's happening here?" she asks us and looks at the lady who's stealing some palette.

"What's the problem here ma'am?" She asked the lady nicely, then the lady glared at me, and also pointed at me. "Itong walang utak niyong sales lady, pinagbibitangan akong magnanakaw!!!" She shouted again, nagsimula nang manood ang mga tao dito sa shop dahil sa lakas ng boses niya.

"But it's true ma'am I saw you ste---," hindi ko natapos ang sasabihin ko ng mahigpit na hinawakan ng boss namin ang kamay ko. It was a tight grip so I stopped and looked at her. She smiled at the lady, "We're so sorry for the trouble Ma'am, please can we keep our voice low" she said.

"Mga walang utak ang mga sales lady nyo dito!! hindi na ako pupunta ulit dito!!!" sambit nito at biglang umalis, "Ma'am yong palette p----ah," natigilan ako ng hilain ako ng boss namin, when I try to go after the lady and get the palette that she steal.

"Ma'am," I utter when she glared at me and pulled me into her office. Masakit ang uri ng pagkakahawak niya sa akin kaya napainda ako ng konti habang hila-hila niya ako, at ng marating namin ang loob ng opisina niya agad niya akong pabalibag na binitawan.
