YOUNG NIGHT

As I enter the club and head straight to the staff room, agad kong hinanap si Erille pero wala siya dito, kahit ang gamit niya wala kaya mabilis akong tumayo at tumuloy sa office ni Ma'am Cherille.

"Oh, El bakit hindi ka pa nag aayos?" bungad niyang tanong sa akin pagpasok ko sa loob, "Tatanong ko lang po sana kung nasaan si Rie?" I ask.

"Ah si Justine nagpaalam siya kani-kanina lang may pupuntahan daw siya kaya hindi siya makakapasok," Kumunot ang noo ko dahil doon, bakit hindi niya ako sinabihan. "Ah ganon po ba, thank you po," I utter and step outside her office and instantly grab my phone to call Rie.

Pero ilang ring na at tawag akong umulit ay hindi niya sinasagot, hanggang sa tuluyan nang naging out of coverage area ang phone niya. So I just decided to text her.

To Rie,

Where are you? Bakit hindi ka papasok?

I waited for a minute but I didn't get any reply kaya wala sa sarili akong nagbihis at naghintay ng sagot niya.

"El, ikaw na sa stage, bakit nakaupo ka pa dyan," napatingin ako kay Rona na kagaya kong stripper din ng tawagin niya ako mula sa pinto. Nagbuntong hininga kong binitawan ang aking cellphone bago ako tumayo at sinuot ang mask ko.

I fixed the brim of my dress and looked at the mirror for a second before I walked out of the staff room. I was walking towards the stage when someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me through the back exit door.

"Teka sandali!" sambit ko at hinarap ito, hindi!

Agad nagtama ang aming ang mata, at kasabay non ay ang pagtibok ng puso ko ng sobrang bilis. Napatingin ako sa itim na lamborghini sa kanyang likuran.

"You're not dancing there, you're coming with me" he darkly whispers and tries to pull me to his car, but I grab my hands away and say. "You are not the boss of me, so you can't tell me what to do!" I haze at him but he confidently looks at me and gazes at the person behind my back.

Nang lingunin ko ang tinitingnan niya sa likuran ko, agad kong nakita si Ma'am Cherille, "Sige na El, sumama ka na sa kanya," she said.

My lips parted because of what she said, and fearlessly faced Leusam. "Hindi ako sasama sayo!" madiin kong sambit but he pulled me close to him and whispered.

"You choose, dance there and I'll make everyone inside blind, or come with me and dance for my eyes only," he darkly said.

What he said makes me gulp in fear, and I didn't had a choice, nauna akong pumasok sa sasakyan niya at inis na tinanggal ang aking mask, he look at me. I saw him get my bag from Ma'am Cherille and enter the car, he smirked before he started the engine and handed me my bag.

Kinuha ko ito at agad tumingin sa bintana, upang iparamdam sa kanya na hindi ko gustong sumama sa kanya.

It just took him 15 minutes of driving and again we arrived at this big building and headed straight to his penthouse above this building. As I look around, nothing changes. It looks the same as the first time I saw it.

Agad siyang bumababa ng sasakyan pagkapark niya nito sa tapat ng penthouse at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto, inabot niya sa akin ang kanyang kamay, pero imbis na tanggapin ang kanyang kamay mas pinili kong bumababa magisa at tingnan siya ng masama.

He just smiled at me before he put both of his hands on his pocket and walked inside his penthouse. Hindi ko siya sinundan at nanatili ako dito sa labas, kaya tumigil siya harap ng pinto. He glanced at me with those calm expressions before he spoke.
