JAESHIN PARK‘S POV
Usap-usapan sa buong Gangster Society ang pagkamatay ng Gangster Empress na kagabi lang nangyari.
Inaakalang in-assassinate raw ito at ang suspect lang naman ay walang iba kundi ang Gangster Queen ng Tenebrés na si Shadow—dahil doon sa Ace of Spade card na iniwan sa crime scene.
Isa lang naman ang Ace of Spade sa mga bagay na pagkakakilanlan ng Shadow of Death.
Ace of Death is pretty similar to our Black Order. Ang kaibahan lang ay may card pa silang iniiwan sa target nila as a warning, and that is what the culprit left in the scene.
So, everyone is thinking na si Shadow ang gumawa noon, when in fact, it could also be any of the Shadow of Death members, too.
“Do you think Shadow really killed the Empress?” Xander wondered. “I don‘t think she has the reason to do that...”
“Why not? Alam naman nating may hindi pagkaka-unawaan ‘yung Shadow of Death at Gustav Kingdom.” Kevin questioned.
The Empress’ gang is called Gustav Kingdom—which is also her surname. Founding members ang magkakapatid na Gustav, panganay si Ella Gustav—ang Empress, at limang nakababatang kapatid na lalaki.
The gang has been around for 5 years, a pretty big gang, consisting more than 50 members, as far as I know. They‘re not that respected in Gangster Society for some reason, however, they‘re still considerably strong, lalo na ‘yung mga kapatid na lalaki.
“I think, Shadow has a reason to do it. I heard, SOD visited her before, warning her to stop interfering with Falcon‘s businesses, but she‘s trying to meddle with them again recently, so, Shadow came back to settle things with her.” Iron commented.
Well, that‘s true. Ang daming nangyayari these past few days. Lalo pang gumulo nung lumitaw si Shadow, or whoever that girl who introduced herself as Shadow.
Impostors, seriously, give me a break.
“What do you mean?” medyo litong tanong ni Kianna.
Ang init-init dikit na dikit sila ni Kevs. Such an eyesore. They should get a room. Tsk.
Hindi naman ganyan si Kevin sa mga babae niya noon. Ni wala nga siyang dinadala kapag magkakasama kami. Nahawaan na nga talaga ‘yan kay Trev.
Napailing nalang ako.
“Have you ever heard of Shadow‘s alias?” Iron smirked.
Kianna slowly shook her head as a response. Jaemin was just waiting for him to continue.
“The Grim Reaper!” he added with enthusiasm.
What a sinister sounding alias. Well, it suits her well, anyways.
“Diba, sa dami ng mga nakalaban nila at natatalo nila, halos lahat nagtatago sa kanila. Do you know why?” Iron paused.
“Because of the bets they‘ve agreed on! Bale hinahayaan niya lang ito na pagtaguan sila, and when it‘s time to claim what‘s suppose to be theirs, pinupuntahan niya na ito para sunduin ‘yung item!” tila may tuwa na wika ni Iron.
