Trevor was mad at himself and anxious at the same time. Paano niya—nila nalaman? Bakit?!
“Let me see...” Trevor said with authority, referring to the proof that he mentioned.
Jerge pointed at his chest. “Khali‘s stab wound. Carl didn‘t do that.” he said and smirked.
Trevor leaned back to the couch as he scoffs. Napapikit siya sa labis na iritasyon. As he reverted his eyes back to Jerge, the latter looked away because of his intense gaze.
“You don‘t have a concrete proof? You went here only with your bullshits?” Trevor took a deep breath. “Are you mocking me?!” he roared.
Jerge breathed erratically. For a second, he felt like he needs to run away and abort his plan but he was too stoned to move or even speak. Lalo pa siyang natakot nang marinig niya ang sumunod na sinabi nito.
“Nieves, drag him to the basement.” Trevor ordered.
“W-Wait! Wait!” he screamed with desperation. “I-I‘m not! I‘m trying to make a negotiation here!”
“Do you think you can leave this place alive after trying to mess with me?”
“A-As I‘ve t-told you... my companion w-will tell Saber about it. I don‘t think Saber will sit still after hearing t-that!” he added, stuttering.
Trevor sighed. What he said was true. Alam niyang kakagat si Saber sa anumang impormasyon na malaman niya patungkol kay Shadow lalo na‘t may kinalaman ito kay King ngayon.
“Who is he?” Trevor asked in a serious tone.
“I can‘t tell you that. That‘s the only thing that can guarantee my safety against you.” Jerge replied.
“Then I‘ll find him myself. I‘ll kill you both.”
Jerge knew it. He will say this. Kaya dapat ay masiguro niya na hindi malalaman ni King kung sino ang tinutukoy niyang kasama.
Nalukot ang mukha ni Jerge habang tinitignan ang mga benda sa katawan ng kaniyang pinsan at naiisip ang nararamdaman nito. Kung sa kaniya nangyari iyon, sigurado siyang mababaliw siya.
Napabuntong-hininga siya. He was there when his cousin got all of these wounds in his body right now but he couldn‘t do anything. He was terrified. Afraid that the same thing might happen to him if he take his side that time. Pinsan niya ito ngunit wala siyang nagawa nung pinahihirapan na siya ng Hari.
Jerge is under an unofficial gang of 3rd year Marvelian led by Iron Mills, which is directly under the Four Dragons. Sa katunayan, hindi niya naman gusto na sumali sa gang na ito, pero sumali siya para maka-survive sa Marvel High.
Ang tanging magagawa niya nalang ngayon ay samahan siyang uminom. Maglasing at maglabas ng hinanakit.
“Huy, Carl? Ayos ka lang?” tanong ni Jerge saka tinapik si Carl na tila hindi na gumagalaw.
