Laura's pov:

"Amazing.. This is amazing!" I said breathtakingly.

I was truly amazed.

From the side I was standing on before, all I could see was a normal abandoned brick wall.

But the moment Ross dragged me to the front.

Wow.

That's seriously all I can say.

The light doesn't even seem that low anymore because it's so clear now.

For some reason, everything is clear.

It's as if the sunlight itself is a gigantic light, purposely shining on the wall lighting everything up as if it were a sunny day.

The light seemed to scare away the shadows creeping into places.

Ross walked towards me and laughed, "I knew it-"

Turning my head to face him I gave him a confused look.

"Knew what?"

"That you'd be the only one who'd actually understand" he smiled sheepishly.

Looking towards the wall than back towards him I opened my mouth to say something but closed it again confused.

"I knew you were the only one who would understand true beauty." He explained slowly, "from the side, or the outside it looks like an old, abandoned, dirty building. But once you see it's true beauty, the whole thing changes."

"That's what you saw- right?"

Nodding my head slightly he laughed, a huge grin on his face.

"OHH!! Finally! Someone who gets it!"

"You don't know how long I've been waiting laur-"

Ross had walked back to the car, waiting for me to finish looking at the building.

For some reason I just couldn't stop staring at it.

I could see why Ross thought only I would understand though.

I agree.

This type of stuff just isn't for everyone in the world. Most people when looking at it wouldn't really care.

They wouldn't even know how to look at it properly, therefore declaring it was boring.

They would say it wasn't true art.

But I know better.

There on the wall was a painting so complex, I couldn't even explain it if I wanted to. It was just one of those things you looked at and decided you liked because something about it spoke to you.

|<Sorry guys>|

It truly was, a remarkable piece of art.

Looking at it automatically made you think about the happy moments in your life.

It made you forget all the bad as if it were a safe haven for the mind.

Work like this could only be done by true artists. People who want a voice in this world.

Maybe someday I can find out who drew this, I thought, and turned around - walking towards the car.

Ross's pov:

"So I take it someone likes my childhood hideout-" I smirked once Laura buckled up her seatbelt.

A smile on her face, she chuckled before looking forwards not even sending me a side glance.
