Wait I have something to explain, remember around episode 10 where the boy's couldn't find out the reason Yujin had vervain in her system when she her self didn't know what that was? This was the twist.

As you know Davina is from a power bloodline of witches in this story, she takes after her grandmother who was the most powerful witch in the bloodline before she passed away.

Before she passed away she put vervain in Yujin's system because she knew that fate was coming for her, until Yujin turned a vampire it could wear off. That's why the boy's couldn't compel Yujin. And the grandmother also knew her granddaughter would lead the next generation of witches which is why she left all of her spell books in the house, she knew Yoori was going to find Davina and tell her everything.

Davina's grandmother was not included in the story but she played the most important parts and main parts of the story.
