FORGIVEN OR FORBIDDEN?

In the previous chapter :
Flashback of MaNan and CaVya.

Present:

All Dixits, Malhotras, FAB 3 and Sid were standing outside the ICU, praying for NaVni. Just then, the 2 doctors treating Nandu and Navya came outside and stood in front of Arjun and Neil.

'doctor, how are my sisters??', Arjun, Neil, Kriti and Avni ask in unison.

'well, I'm doctor sunaina, the doctor treating Navya.... She's currently stable now and is out of danger. Make sure she is stress free and her surroundings are happy', the doctor said and all the Dixits nodded positively.

'and I'm doctor Sparsha. The doctor treating Nandini. She is also out of danger now and is stable. she has lost a lot of blood so make sure she follows a proper diet until she recovers, and yes, make sure she doesn't have any stress and tensions. Make sure she too have a happy surrounding around her', the doctor said and all the Dixits nodded positively once again.

'Mr. Dixit, one more question... Do Nandini and Navya have any panic and anxiety attacks? Or did they have any in the past?', doctor sunaina asked.

'Yes doctor, they used to have very terrible panic attacks 13 years ago. It took six years to bring them out of it', Neil said. Listening to him, ManBir were very much shocked and guilty.

'how did they recover?', doctor Sparsha asked.

'by all these children *pointing at DE 8*. By seeing them grow, slowly both of them started forgetting their bitter past. They even consulted a therapist and got out of the trauma they were facing', Avni said.

'were they taking any pills?', doctor Sparsha asked.

'pills? What pills? N-', AKriti and AvNeil were about to tell but Aarav cuts their words in between.

'yes, they were consuming anti depression and anti stress pills every now and then. Infact, no one in the house knew it till yesterday', Aarav said, shocking everyone (except DE 7) present there.

'you kids knew about it??', Kriti asked.

'no mom, Infact none of us also knew about this till yesterday', Aayan said.

'Actually... Yesterday morning, mom had called Aarav to fetch a file for her and mail it to her. When finding it, he saw the bottles of anti depression and stress. Then we searched Nadi maa's room too and found the same in her room', Nyra said.

'then we threw the pills outside and called mom and choti maa to ask about it', Myra said.

'and after a lot of confronting and arguing, both of them promised us to never consume them again', Abeer said.

'Yes, and we didn't inform you because the matter was already solved and buas insisted us not to tell you all', Aadvay and Khushi said.

'oh my God, this is unbelievable', Avni exclaimed.

'what will happen if mom and dad, especially dad gets to know about it', said Arjun.

'what else dad, Grandpa will chase you and Arjun chachu and punish both of you for not taking care of his princess', Saavni said jokingly, to lighten the situation. Listening to her, all the Dixits chuckle lightly and ArNeil just roll their eyes.

'saanvi, you forgot to add one more thing...', Khushi said and all turned to her and she continues, 'both dad and Arjun chachu will be grounded for a month and both will be put outside their rooms', Khushi said with a small laugh and others except ArNeil laughed too.

'doctor, can we see our sisters now?', Arjun asked, diverting the topic.

'sure Mr. Dixit. Both of them are shifted to the VIP ward. You all can go and see them', both the doctors said and went away from there.

All the Dixits move to NaVni's ward. The Malhotras, FAB 3 and Sid were standing outside the ward to give them privacy.

But ManBir were now in chaos, guilt, sadness and what not. The doctors words, DE 8's words were running around in their mind like a video and unknowingly, both started crying. Neyonika notices this and wiped their tears and hugged them tight. FAB 3 were feeling a little guilty seeing ManBir's condition.

In VIP ward:

Both navni had regained consciousness and they opened their eyes slowly and saw all Dixits surrounding them with concern, worry and anger evident on their faces. NaVni gulped seeing them and gave them a nervous smile and said, 'hey everyone'. Everyone glare at them and both the sisters quickly shut their mouths. Avni gave both of them a glass of water to drink and they both readily accepted it.

'nandu, navu, what happened so suddenly today, that brought both of you till hospital?', Arjun ask with slight tears in his eyes. Nandu sees it and gestures him to sit next to her and wipe his tears. Navya does the same with Neil.

'bhai, to be honest, we got started getting some flashes of the past and we both were on a verge of having a panic attack so, we fainted', said Navya.

'but Nandu, why did you cut your palms?', KriNi asked.

'a..actually.. I ...I got very angry remembering the past incident that I didn't even notice that I had g...gra...grabbed a k..knife. I didn't notice it cutting my palm unless the kids shout and b..by the time I realised, I had er...fainted', Nandu said stuttering and let out a small nervous chuckle, which made everyone nod their heads disapprovingly and glare at her (including Navya), due to this, Nandu stopped her chuckle and gulped down her saliva.

'and when were you planning to tell us about the pills you consumed', Neil asked sarcastically yet with anger and concern. On listening to him, NaVni just bow their heads down in fear and helplessness.

'sorry Bhai, we really didn't want to consume them but... we were so stressed out that we didn't find any other option', Navya said.

'but we promise, we'll never ever consume them again. We'll take care of our health', Nandu said.

Seeing NaVni almost crying, they immediately consoled them and wiped their tears.

'you all didn't eat anything yet na? I know you haven't... so, first let's have our food and Arjun bro, don't you dare skip your juice now', NaVni said.

'h..how do you both know?', Arjun asked with a shocked expression.

'we heard a nurse complaining about it and that was quite rude', Nandu said and Arjun asked sorry to them with cute puppy eyes... And how can someone be so angry on our handsome hunk for so long... They forgave him.

Soon, Arjun, Neil and all the DE 8 boys went and brought food for everyone. The Dixits had their lunch in silence. In all this, DE 8 had not even spoken a word to NaVni and this was definitely scaring both of them.
