In the previous chapter:
Past comes crashing down!!
The next morning, the scorching sun was shining extra bright, the morning breeze was heavy with tensions, confusions, rage and worry. Kabir, Reyaansh, Neil and Arjun were busy in the gym whereas the Nandini, Navya, Ishana, Aadhya, Kriti and Avni were discussing about the recent turn of events and it's likely consequences. FAB 3 and Sid were scared of the consequences whereas, Manik and Cabir were sleeping, completely oblivious about the situation.
An hour later, everyone except Manik and Cabir assembled at the breakfast table to have their breakfast. After a few minutes, Manik and Cabir came down holding their heads and groaning in pain.
Manik's POV
Ugh.... I feel my head spinning due to the hangover. I think I had drunk a bit too much yesterday but, I don't remember anything after seeing Nandu dancing with that Reyaansh. I move out of my room and observe Cabir who is in the same state. We both move downstairs holding our heads due to the pain. Mom immediately went to the kitchen after asking Mrs. Dixit for something. A minute later, mom came out with a glass of water and two painkillers for me and Cabir. She gave it to us with a glare. We both gulped down the tablet and water in fear and whispered a sorry to mom and joined the rest of them for breakfast after apologising for the mess we had created. I noticed four new faces whom I had not seen here till now but didn't question as the table was unusually very silent today. I could also see an unknown fury in Neil, Arjun, Kabir and Reyaansh but, couldn't point out the exact reason. FAB 3 also looked uneasy today.
Once breakfast was done, me and Cabir were about to go back to our respective rooms but stopped hearing a voice.
POV ENDS
"Manik, Cabir, won't you meet your Jaan or Darling?", thundered Arjun. Hearing his tone and words, everyone froze in their places. Manik and Cabir were shocked. FAB 3 gulped in fear and looked down feeling Manik and Cabir's gazes.
"Arjun, what are you speaking about?", Asked Raman, thinking something deeply.
"Exactly the same thing what you are thinking right now dad", Neil answered on behalf of Arjun.
"T- they are the ones from the past na?", Ishita asked for confirmation.
"Yes aunt", Reyaansh stated.
"Get out", Raman yelled at Manik and Cabir.
"Uncle... Please listen to-", Manik and Cabir tried to speak.
"I said GET OUT of my house RIGHT NOW", Raman roared in anger.
"Uncle, we really love them... Please uncle give us a chance", begged Manik and Cabir, falling on their knees.
"Love? Yeah sure, leaving the girl you loved when she gets pregnant with your child is love. Leaving the girl you loved just because your friends don't like her is love. Wow superb na?", Nandu sarcastically clapped her hands, chuckling bitterly.
"You do not love us. If you really did, you would have searched for us. First of all, you wouldn't have treated us as an option", Navya added with a mock. Manik and Cabir looked down with guilt.
"Nandu, Navya please give us a chance... We'll surely win back your and the kids trust", Manik begged.
"Don't you dare talk about the kids. They are just mine and Navya's kids, not your kids", shouted Nandu.
"But-'"
"Oh shut up... You didn't even want is at the first place and now, you're claiming your rights on us? Just back off man, me are happy with our mothers", Aarav said in a monotone.
"But, according to the contract, we must stay here till the deal ends", Cabir used his trump card.
"You think you can survive here?", Kabir mocked.
"Yes we will", said Manik and Cabir confidently.
"Let's see", the Dixits and Dare Devils smirked.
"Hmm... Mr. Malhotra and Mr. Malhotra, can you please bring me a glass of juice", asked Ishana.
"One for me as well", said Aadhya, Rey and Kabir.
"We?", Asked Manik and Cabir in confusion.
"Yeah, why can't you bring us a glass of juice?", Aadhya asked.
"No, we'll bring it", Manik and Cabir said hesitantly.
The duo went towards the kitchen and brought four glasses of juice for the Dare Devils. They served the juice to the four of them.
Aadhya, Kabir, Ishana and Reyaansh dropped the glasses on the floor.and made a oops face.
"Oops... It fell down. Clean it", Kabir kinda ordered. Manik and Cabir realised what's happening and just nodded. Neyo came forward to help but was stopped by Kriti and Avni.
Manik and Cabir picked up the glass pieces and cleaned up the spilt juice.
"Now, join the glass pieces like they were before", Ishana instructed.
"But how's that even possible", exclaimed Cabir.
"Exactly! You both broke Nandu and Navy in the same way", sneered Rey.
"This is just the beginning.... Hell awaits ahead", Arjun and Neil warned.
