I wake up with a slight headache this morning so when I got back from the mosque I just went straight to my room and slept off. I didn't wake up till 11 thank god it's weekend.
I didn't come out of my room till I was all dressed up. The house was so quite. Everywhere was scenting of a very familiar Oud and I loved it so much.
Good morning"I heard her voice from the dinning table. I didn't know when a smile creep on my face as I walked to the very organized dinning table. I muttered a reply before siting down. I opened the fir at cooler and what I saw made me look what her
🙄"what is this"I asked spoiling my face and she laughed .
"It's Turkish food "she beamed excitedly.
"This is turkish tabbouleh" she pointed at the food
"And this is Greek dolmades ,taste it it's really good. This was my favorite dish in turkey"
See her looking less sad today made me so happy so I agreed to taste it. I slowly took the wrap to my mouth and had a bite .
"Hmmm not bad"I said and she squealed happily. It really did taste good😌
"But next time can you just maybe cook indomie or chips for breakfast like a normal person"I teased and she hit me with the back of the spoon and I laughed
"But sincerely this is amazing panda"I pecked her cheeks
"Thank you tiger"she beamed back.
After having our breakfast we left for t he hospital I was so surprised at how happy Zayad was to eat his turkey dishes.
"Zuwaira can you remember Aylin and Aiyla"Zayad asked and panda hissed
"Those girls are witches I swear."she hissed
"Aiyla is a witch Aylin is an angel"Zayad correct .
"Of course you will say that she was your girlfriend after all" Zuwaira said laughing
"Yeah same way Galip was your boyfriend" Zayad said and they both laughed
"I hate that guy he smells like garlic"she said and they both laughed.
I know they where just joking around but the word boyfriend and Zuwaira together I didn't like it. I only prayed for Zayad to get well soon and decided to leave but Zayad stopped me saying what did I give Zuwaira to bring her back from her depression state,he joked but I only smiled before leaving saying I wanted to take care of some work. I went home first and I met them about to leave for the hospital so we greeted
quickly before they left.

"Where are you"Walid asked immediately when he picked the call.
"Are you normal. Don't you know how to greet your elders again"I asked through the phone
"Hahaha..who is the elder?"he asked and u hissed
We spoke for sometime before we decided to meet at a very fancy restaurant.

"Aren't you going to order anything."Walid asked me after giving his order.
"It's small boys that come to a restaurant to eat. Married men like us eat amazing food our wife's cook"I boasted and he eyed me.
"Don't worry next year by this time you will have to pay to see me because I will be busy sweeping her off her feet"he teased and I threw a handkerchief on his face.
"Shameless boy. Not my sister kam, the girl that hates you"I back fired.
"Aaaahhh Ayan you are playing with me oooo... well sorry to burst your bubble we are back together"he said sticking a tongue out at me like a child.
"You should come and start taking lessons"he added and I rolled my eyes. His food arrived shortly and he began to dig in.

"Hmmmm looks like Ayan will soon take second wife oooo"🤣🤣🤣Walid said laughing using his eyes to point at my left side. It was a young girl sitting down looking at us. When my eyes landed on her she gave me a small smile and I quickly looked away and Walid kept on laughing .
"You are just a fool"I said to him.
We kept on joking around till he was done and we began packing up to leave.
"3 o'clock"Walid warned but before I could turn to see what it was I heard her voice
"Assalamu  Alaikum"she greeted and I had to fight the urge to role my eyes I just took my attention back to my phone. I heard Walid reply to her greeting.
"Yayana (elder brother)😅please answer my greeting mana. I can see we are all Muslims here"she said but I still didn't look up talkless of replying her
I don't know when I turned to her brother that she is calling me (Yayana)
"Am Walid what's your name"Walid tried to help because he saw I wasn't ready to reply her
"Abidah"came her reply and I didn't know when my head snapped back to her direction.
Abidah........that's the name......

"Toh Abidah nice to meat the name of your brother here is Rayan. This is our card,so feel free to call us anytime so we can greet"Walid said handing her the card and she smiled collecting it before looking at me who was deep in thought.
"Toh yayana thank you."she smiled and left immediately she did Walid began to laugh 😂
"Toh yayana ,stand up let's go na.Abi the girl has qualified me"he teased and I eyed him before standing up . When we where passing by on the road I saw a man standing by his bonnet. The car probably had a problem. When I looked at his face he looked so familiar. He was an old man but not to old. He could be like babas age mate .
I didn't know when I stopped the car
"What" Walid asked
"Let's go and help that man I think his car has a problem"I said and Walid shook his head
"He might be a kidnapper  like that now"Walid said and I laughed.
"So you like your life like this"I teased
"Aah well sef. You go ,don't worry if he tries to kidnap you I will just go call the police"he said and I only laughed shaking my head before coming out of the car.
I greeted the man respectful before asking him what the problem was.
"Thank you very much my son. It's my car engine.it has been giving me problem"he informed
"Let me check it" I said
I began to work on the machine land the next time I looked up I saw the man looking at me with a huge smile on his face
"Baba you look so familiar walahi like I have seen you before."I said returning my attention back to what I was doing
"Haba ,where have you seen me"he asked
"I don't remember kam"I replied and he smiled
He began to ask me my fathers name if maybe he knew me through there but no he didn't know any. I asked maybe he had a son that was my age that I might know but he told me he doesn't have a son. He only had a daughter who died in a car accident. When he said that I paused and looked at him like as if trying to see something
"And my wife also died of asthma attack few years ago"he added but I couldn't reply I just kept on looking at him like trying to read something from him.
He tapped me and brought me back to reality.
I prayed for their soul and quickly finished up . He switched on the car and the engine was working well now.
He kept on thanking me and I bid him adieu and left to my car.
"Welcome"Walid greeted but I couldn't even reply him. I was about to start the car when the man knocked on my window and I whined down.

"Turian .......turian super market "he said and I smiled. That was where we met.

It was last year I went to get something in the supermarket with Zarah and she wouldn't stay in one place. Before I turn left and right she is gone wondering around . So I was busy picking something when I realized she was gone again. I began to look for her when I saw her with that old man picking out different brands of sweets for her .she kept on jumping happily and the man kept on laughing.
"Sorry she is making you work"I said picking up Zarah. He looked at me and smiled
"Haba no fa"he said
"Go and continue what you are doing I will watch her for you"he volunteered . I know I wasn't supposed to trust him so easily but I did. I thanked him before leaving . When I was done with everything I was doing I met him with Zarah at the counter .I finished paying for my things before thanking him. That was when I saw he bought all those chocolates for Zarah. I told him no he shouldn't worry but he insisted. Saying she reminded him a lot of his late daughter.

But what is confusing me now is that even at the time we met at the supermarket he still looked very familiar
