If looks could kill I would have been dead by now with the stern look she is giving me right know

"Did I make it" I asked just to piss her some more

"Do you ever make it" she answered handing me the file annoyed

"How bad is it" I asked

"Why don't you go check for your self" she answered moving from the door for me to pass
I knocked on the door and he asked me to come in
"Assalamu Alaikum" I greeted him and he looked up to see me,he looked like he was going to eat me up

"Mr Rayan you are late again today" he said with a stern look

"I can see you are not serious with your job,you can give in a resignation letter or else I won't have any choice than to do it myself" he said with a stern look no joke
And what he meant by do it himself is he was going to fire me

Can he even do that

"I am sorry Sir,there was an emergency I had to take care of " I told him

"I won't ask you what the emergency is but I will warn you,the next time you come in late I would have to punish you" he snapped

He is bluffing
"Have you gotten the files" he asked and I sat across him in the office

"Yes,I went through it and it seemed like a very great  deal" I told him handing him the file

"The kargo industry are asking for our presence in the opening of their new branch here in Abuja" he told me

"That's nice" what else can I say

"I won't be able to attend so you and Walid should go" he said

"Okay"

We talked some more about business before we finally closed the files
"So how was the dinner you went to last night" I asked

"It was good,amazing actually,they are such a lovely family,and religious too,they even have a niqabi" He said proudly

"Thats good,so have you signed the contract" I asked
"That was the first thing I did this morning" he said smiling
"How is Mama" I asked
"She is fine,she couldn't stop praising that girl since" he said and I nodded

"So why where you late again,what did Zara do this time" he finally asked

"She threw a tantrum about not going to school today" I tod him

"Why don't you just get her a nanny Ayan?" Baba asked worried
"Baba I don't want some woman to come and be maltreating my daughter"I said sternly getting up,I hate this topic
" I will be in my office if you need me"I said and walked out of the office
In my office I called in some workers talking about changes I wanted in the factory
"So sir the machines would be brought next week and the garage has not yet been renovated" one of them said
"I think it would be better if we have the factory manager here" Walid said
"I told him to call me by this time since he can't make it" I replied
"Sir your phone is ringing"my secretary rushed in
" Speaker "I said not looking at him as I listened to what Walid was saying
"Sir its...." My Secretary began but I cut him off,it was the factory manager I told him to call me,he obliged and answered it putting it on speaker
"Hello Ayan" I heard mama's voice
