I felt a beam of light shine onto my face as I slowly opened my eyes. Slowly opening my eyes, I saw that I was in a hospital room.
"How did I get here?" I asked myself before feeling something heavy on my left arm.
I slowly turned my head to see Yang's blonde hair covering her head as she slept on my arm.
"Yang?" I asked as I pet her head to see that she was still asleep.
???: Glad you're okay. Y/N certainly has gotten himself into a lot of trouble trying to find you. I heard a voice from my right before turning to see a woman with black and red hair looking at me as my eyes widen.
"M-Mom?"
To Y/N
Y/N leaned against a tree before slowly turning his head to see Blake. Her head on his shoulder as her arms were wrapped around his arm.
Y/N: Hmm... He hummed to himself as he looked at her.
Blake: Is something wrong? She asked, her amber eyes looking at him.
Y/N: It's nothing. He replies before looking at the blue sky.
Blake: I'm glad you're back. She said, tightening her arms around his.
Y/N: Missed me?
Blake: Of course. You were gone for a week. She said, leaning her head back on his shoulder.
Y/N: I suppose you're right. He said as he looked at Blake once more to suddenly see Cinder.
Y/N: W-What? He asked himself before shaking his head, seeing Blake continuing to lay her head on his shoulder.
Y/N: What the hell was that. He thought to himself as Blake looked at him with confusion.
Blake: Is something wrong? She asked with confusion.
Y/N: Nothing. Nothing's wrong. He told her before leaning back against the tree.
Y/N: Sparda... why did that man call me that?
To Dante
Dante: Come on Vergil. What is with all the trouble of coming out here. He said as he looked at the swordsman.
Vergil: Is it not simple enough? He asked as he continued to walk down the path.
Dante: Considering that we're in the middle of nowhere at night. No. It is not simple enough. He answered as Vergil turned towards him.
Vergil: You'll find out soon enough. He said before turning his head to the side before stopping.
Dante: Oh what now. He said as Vergil suddenly disappeared.
Dante: And here we go again. He said before running down the bath as clashes were heard.
Dante: Great. Another fight breaking out. He said as he continued down the path before stopping in front of a gate.
Dante: What the hell is this? He said as puddles of blood were scattered through the city.
Dante: Grimm... He said before pulling out his sword and walking through the gate, scanning the area.
Dante: No bodies. Grimm probably took them all. He thought to himself as he looked around.
THUD
Dante turned to the side to see a large humanoid staring at him, holding a sword in hand.

Dante: And here we go again. Can't seem to stay dead.
Somewhere Else
Mercury was sitting on a pair of stairs as tears ran down his cheeks.
Mercury: Damn him. He cursed loudly before getting up and turned towards a table with a blanket.
Mercury: Emerald... He said as he grabbed the blanket and slowly pulled it down, revealing Emerald before rubbing her cheek.
Mercury: I'll make him suffer for what he did to you. He said as tears dropped to the ground before walking out of the room.
Mercury: I'll have your head Y/N. For what you've done. He thought to himself before hearing a dark chuckle on his right.
???: So you want the sparda's blood. Interesting. A dark voice said as he turned towards a dark figure.
Mercury: Who are you. He asked cautiously.
???: Mundus. I've...been watching you for some time. He said as Mercury got into a stance.
Mercury: Why.
Mundus: You want the young sparda's blood. I can give you all the strength to do so.
