Chapter 58: Y/N and Mercury

Third Person POV 

Ozpin stood in a medical room, holding his mug in hand as he looked at an unconscious Pyrrha and Jaune. 

Ozpin: Hmm... What could have caused this? 
He thought to himself as a door opened. 

???: I've checked the security cameras Headmaster. 
A woman said as Ozpin nodded. 

Ozpin: Thank you Glynda. What did you see? 
He asked as Glynda tapped her tablet before showing a video of Y/N, Jaune, and Pyrrha in the training room. 

Goodwitch: Do you think Mr L/N was the one that did this? 
She asked as she looked at him. 

Ozpin: Mr L/N couldn't have done these wounds to Nikos and Arc. 
He said as he continued to watch the video before seeing Nero Angelo. 

Goodwitch: W-Who is that? 
She asked as Nero Angelo charged at Y/N, bringing his sword down onto Y/N. 

Ozpin: That seems be to be the one that did this to these two. 
He said as Nero Angelo kicked Y/N away from him. 

Goodwitch: A-And he just teleported into the school. 
She said as she looked at him with hints of fear. 

Ozpin: I don't know. 
He said as he stopped the video, pausing when Pyrrha's spear was lodged into his armor. 

Goodwitch: W-What are we going to do? We don't know where they took Mr L/N to. 
She asked as she looked at him. 

Ozpin: I'll contact the other headmasters. 

Somewhere Else 

Salem stood in front of an orb, seeing its color slowly shift before showing a young Y/N with her. 

Salem: Y/N...
She thought to herself as young Y/N walked with her, holding her hand as they walked along a river. 

???: Mistress, what are the rest of us going to do? 
A voice asked as she turned to see Hazel, Watts, and Tyrian. 

Salem: Just wait until Mundus gets what he needs from Y/N. 
She replies as she continued to look at the orb, looking at his bright smile. 

Hazel: Mundus doesn't look like he has the best intentions. 
He said as the others looked at him. 

Watts: Agreed. 
He said as he tapped his forearm, a hologram slowly forming above his arm showing Mundus, Nero Angelo, and Mercury. 

Tyrian: Oh, I'll like to see this. 
He said with a grin as the two men remained silent. 

Mundus: Do what you want Mercury, I need to prepare the ritual. 

Mercury: With pleasure. 
He said before throwing a right hook at Y/N, knocking him to the side as the two glared at Mercury. 

Hazel: What ritual? 
He asked as Salem looked at them. 

Salem: R-Ritual? 
She asked as she looked at them. 

Y/N: What ritual. What the hell are you talking about.

Mundus: You'll find out child. The end of your bloodline shall end here. 
He said as Salem's eyes widen. 

To Y/N 

Y/N: Gah! 
He gasped as Mercury glared at him before throwing another hook. 

Mercury: That's for killing them. 
He growled as Y/N spat out blood. 

Y/N: Is that all you got? 
He said with a smile, earning a growl from Mercury. 

Mercury: You didn't deserve the others. 
He said, throwing another hook as Y/N was knocked to the side. 

Y/N: Wow, you've gotten stronger. 
He said with a smirk as Mercury growled louder before lifting his arm up, ready to throw another punch. 

Mercury: After I'm done with you, I'm going to kill those girls at that damn school. 
He said before reeling his fist towards Y/N, seeing blue lightning flicker around him. 

THUD 

Mercury: W-What? 
He asked as Y/N caught his hand, his golden E/C eyes glaring at him. 

Mercury: W-What the hell. 
He said as Y/N broke out of the chains before throwing him at a wall, earning a gasp. 

Y/N: Talking like you've taken lives before. 
He said as he walked towards him. 

Y/N: What have you done? Failed to protect Neo. Cinder. And last of all, Emerald. 
He said as Mercury charged at him before throwing a kick from the side.

Throwing a kick towards his adversary as Y/N looked at him before raising his hands up. 

THUD 

Mercury's eyes widen before being slammed into the ground as Y/N smirked. 

Y/N: See you in he-
He said before being blasted from behind as Mundus held his arm towards him. 

Mundus: Interesting. 
He said as Y/N charged at Mundus, reeling his fists back before thrusting it towards him. 

THUD 

Mundus: Weak. Very weak. 
He said as black eletricty flickered around him. 

Y/N: Ah! 
He screamed as he gripped his demonic arm  before being kicked at the gut, sending him to the ground. 

Mundus: I've expected more from the descendent of Sparda. 
He said as Y/N groans loudly, struggling to get up. 

???: Y/N! 
A voice called out as Y/N turned to the side to see Salem running towards him. 

Y/N: I-I'm going to kill you. 
He growls as he glared at Mundus.

Mundus: Good. 
He said as he slowly formed an energy ball. 

BOOM 

Y/N: W-What? 
He thought to himself before seeing Salem holding her arm up at Mundus .

Y/N: S-Salem? 
He asked as he looked at her with confusion. 

Salem: Get out of here. 
She said as she formed a portal for him. 

Y/N: Why. 
He asked as he looked at her with confusion. 

Salem: G-SHANK 

Tyrian: Mistress! 
He yelled as Y/N stood there in shock, seeing a spear lodged into her chest as she held her chest in pain. 

Salem: H-how? P-P-Pain? 
She asked in confusion as Y/N looked at her with widen eyes. 

Watts: Y/N! You got to go! 
He yelled as he pushed him towards the portal. 

Y/N: W-What about you? 
He asked as he looked at him. 

Watts: You got to go. He's after you. Go! 
He yelled before pulling out a handgun and shooting at Mundus. 

Y/N: I'm not leaving you. 
He said as he looked at him. 

Watts: Just go. 
He said as Hazel grabbed Y/N. 

Hazel: Get away from here. Tell Ozpin of this man. 
He said before throwing into the portal as it closed. 

Mundus: After all this, you've betrayed me Queen. 
He said as he gripped Salem by the throat. 

Salem: Y-You'll no longer hurt my son. 
She growled as she attempted to pry his hand off. 

Mundus: We'll see about that. 
He said as a black energy flickered around him. 

Salem: AHHH! 
She screamed as her skin slowly started to change into a different color scheme. 

Mundus: With your powers, I can create a new army and take over this planet. Without Sparda's interference. And you four shall be the first.
