Sixteen: Second Life: Two Steps Forward One Step Back

Being lead back to Cloud Recesses with Fei Huaguang and few other Celestial Mountain disciples help, he was met with a large group of Lans waiting for him at the Front Halls, and standing in front of them all was Lan Wangji who was taller and sharper looks from the last time Wei WUxian last seen him.

A bright smile carved itself on his lips when Wei Wuxian broke at least six rules in one go by laughing out loud in joy, running to his fiance and jumping into Lan Wangji's arms who caught him and twirl Wei Wuxian around. No one scolded them in fact, even Lan Qiren smiled to see the soulmates were reunited once more.

Lan Wangji didn't spare even a moment, he gathers his fiance in his arms and throws him over his shoulder and carries Wei Wuxian away, who was blushing but couldn't stop himself from laughing the entire time while being carried away.

Not even Lan Xichen had any face to laugh at this one, instead he was also a blushing mess at his younger brother's shameless act in front of everyone. He turns to their Uncle who was bright red in the face, clearly pissed off with his nephew's disgraceful display. Lan Xichen couldn't even muster the courage to mutter a word to his Uncle but Lan Qiren only side before starting to walk away muttering to himself how Lan Wangji would wish he never was born with legs or even arms tomorrow.

In the Jingshi, Lan Wangji pushes Wei Wuxian onto the bed and started to undress his soulmate but grew angry with Wei Wuxian's clothes and decides the rest was replaceable and rips all of them away with one yank from his hand. Wei Wuxian wraps his arms around Lan Wangji, pulling him down to be drowned in a kiss that felt like it lasted for thousands of years but those were the best thousand years of Wei Wuxian existence. Wei Wuxian pushes his naked chest to his fiance's clothed chest and wrapped his legs around Lan Wangji's waist clinging to him like a monkey.

Lan Wangji sits up in their shared bed taking Wei Wuxian up with him sitting on his knees and having Wei Wuxian sitting on his excitement and proof how much Lan Wangji missed his soulmate. That night was filled not only with sex but passionate love making as two hearts become one while they were in each others arms again after a year of being a part.

The sun has risen in the West greeting the day with a new Morning and finally the soulmates were panting in their shared sheets but still clinging to each other. Lan Wangji lay on his back with Wei Wuxian laying on his chest.

Months passed by too quickly for anyone's taste and then came the congress and the archery competition in Nightless City. Lan Wangji refused to let his soulmate ride alone to their destination so he pulled Wei Wuxian up on his horse, sitting half on his lap on the front of the horse. Wei Wuxian couldn't help but blush at his fiance's shamelessness when it came to him so he hid his face in Lan Wangji's chest as Lan Wangji stirs the horse down the path right next to his uncle's side and behind his brother.

Lan Qiren couldn't help but glare at his nephew's tactics, knowing it wasn't poor Wei Wuxian's doing as Lan Wangji proved over and over again, that he is the one who can't keep his hands off the other. Arriving at the Nightless city, the Lans came riding in first and at first they thought it would go normally until they saw the Second Young Master Lan with his fiance who was riding with him, and caused many to swoon at the two and threw crazy amount of flowers on the two, creating even more of an entrance, picturing of the two's beauty which only caused them to throw even more.

To say it even shorter, there were no more flowers for the maidens to throw when the Jiangs, Nie's and Jin's came riding in because most of them where in Wei Wuxian's arms in a huge bouquet, when some of the young master saw this, they were seething at all the attention Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji were getting.

One in particular who was self entitled was Jin Zixuan who came stomping over to cause a scene with Wei Wuxian but Wei Wuxian turns his back to the young Master, and stalks away without even taking a glance at the other. Lan Wangji however was always behind his soulmate like a lost puppy dog trying to catch the only attention for themselves.
