" GO!" he shouted
"NO, NOT WITHOUT YOU!"
"Please doll, go," he replied "I'm not asking you anymore, I'm begging you: save your life. Save it for me."
"No-no!" she sobbed as he slammed the metal door in front of her "NO! OPEN THAT FUCKING DOOR!"
"Go doll, please." she heard him whisper through the door
She closed her eyes and laid her head on the cold door. She heard fighting and grunting, and then nothing. She waited a few more minutes, hoping he would come back, that he would open the door, take her in his arms and walk away with her... but he didn't.
So she dried her cheeks, got up, grabbed her guns and ran in the opposite direction of the door. She was broken, but she vowed to herself to come back and save him.
Even if it took her a year, ten years, or her whole life.
She would save him.
