Tanging ang ingay lang ng air-condition ang aking naririnig habang mahimbing parin ang tulog. Mas tinaas 'ko pa ang comforter at niyakap ng mahigpit ang yakap na unan dahil sa lamig.

Few minutes after when I suddenly felt a hand around my waist. I knew that it was him when I smelled his fresh cologne.

Lumingon ako at hinawakan ang kanyang braso. He's somewhat cold dahil katatapos lang nitong maligo.

"What time is it?" I asked him.

He caress my face before he talked.

"Two a.m." He answered.

"You're early today." Sambit 'ko. Nitong mga nakaraang linggo kasi ay halos alas-singko o alas sais na siyang nakakauwi rito sa mansion.

"Because I miss you." Aniya at hinalikan ang aking noo.

I smiled at him and hugged him tight.

It was a few minutes of silence. I saw my wedding ring that I'm wearing today. Hanggang sa may naalala ako.

"Atlas?" Tawag 'ko.

"Hmm?" Tila inaantok na ani nito.

Nag-isip ako ng ilang sandali bago nagsalitang muli.

"Shouldn't we get marry in a church?" I asked him.

Agad siyang lumingon sakin at tinignan ako ng seryoso.

"Can we? I mean, do you want to?" Aniya ng pagtataka. Hindi makapaniwala sa aking sinabi.

I nodded at him.

"Don't you want–"

"Baby, that was my plan in the first place." Sambit nito na hindi na ako pinatapos.

"It's just, I can't wait to marry you that day that's why I suggested to marry us as soon as possible." He explained.

"Really?" Tsaka ko siya tinaasan ng kilay.

"I want you to be mine. After the day that I left you for so long, I just– I can't wait to see and be with you again."

I chuckled.

"Oh, really?" Pang-aasar 'ko.

He smiled at me and gave me a kiss in the forehead.

"You don't have any idea..." He almost whispered at niyakap akong muli ng mahigpit.

The next day, I was so bored that I'm planning to have a camping near the mountains of Idaho. Atlas is outside, washing his car. I was about to tell him that we should camp when Maia called.

"How are you? I missed you." Iyun ang unang bungad nito nang sinagot ko ang kanyang tawag.

"I miss you too. And I'm fine. Very fine." Kako.

"How's Ohio?" I asked.

"Ganon parin. Walang bago. But I miss here though. Naalala 'ko tuloy nong college days natin." She explained.

"Oh yeah?"

"Papunta rin pala si Eliot rito sa Ohio. Ewan, gusto rin yatang magpariwara kagaya ko." Masayang tugon ni Maia.

"Just don't get caught." I adviced her.

"Roger that." Aniya. Nag-usap pa kami ng ilang minuto bago namatay ang tawag.

The Alpha Team was disband when I've got release in the hospital. Binigyan kami ng note to leave the army for a few months, and will notify us once they need us again. Pero kung gusto naman naming bumalik agad, we can do the small tasks and assignments under the Delta Team since we're joining them.
