*Remus' POV* The first years walked into the great hall, most of them nervous. Except yn. Yn was reading again, I had no idea how she knew where she was going, her book was about four centimetres away from her face. I wondered what her glasses were for if she had to hold the book so close. Yn myst be a mind reader because she whispered, "I have a 300% turn in my right eye, without glasses I'd crash into absolutely everything. Most people with a turn in their eyes have a 10% turn, guess I'm just lucky!" "How did you know i was going to ask?" asked Remus "People always ask." she whispered. "Sirius Black!" called Professor McGonagall "Gryffindor!" the sorting hat shouted The next of the friends was Remus. "Remus Lupin!" "Ahh, very smart, wise, you'd do well in Ravenclaw, but, bravery, so much bravery, Gryffindor!" said the hat. James and Peter were both sorted into Gryffindor aswell. Then it was Yn's turn. * Yn's POV* "Y/N L/N!" You walked up, nose still in your book, Lupa on your shoulder. "Hmm, wise, smart, but there's something else, bravery, so much bravery, waiting to be discovered, Gryffindor!" shouted the hat. You weren't listening, you were still reading. "Excuse me Professor, what did it say, I wasn't listening, nothing disturbs me when I'm reading." you asked. "Gryffindor." said Professor McGonagall, though she sounded confused. You skipped over to the Gryffindor table, and sat next to Remus. "Gryffindor?" asked James "Apparently" you replied "You're way to bookwormish, you should be Ravenclaw!" said Sirius "It said something about Ravenclaw, to be truthful I wasn't listening." You explained "Proves our point!" said James "You've only known me a day, there's more to me than meets the eye!" You said. 👧🏻❤🐺 *boy's dormitory* "I probably shouldn't be here." you said, it was midnight and you were still in the boys dormitory. "You're always welcome here, just knock before you come in!" said Remus. "We should have a sleep over!" Cried Sirius "Are we actually gonna sleep, it's midnight." you said "Nope, of course not, that's not what sleep overs are for!" said James "Ok, count me in, I'll be back in a minute!" you said. *Remus' POV* "Well, she sure is something!" said Sirius "What do you mean?" I asked "Shouldn't she be hanging out with the other girls" asked James "I dunno, she doesn't seem like other girls." I said *Yn's POV* You raced into your dormitory and changed into blue camouflage pyjamas (they totally weren't boys pyjamas), tied your hair into a loose plait, then grabbed some blankets, a pillow, an enchanted record player and Lupa. Then you raced out again. You knocked at the boys dormitory. Remus opened the door, and you stumbled in, your arms full. Remus took Lupa from you, making your load considerably lighter. James then took the record player and Sirius took the records. You dumped the rest of the stuff on the floor. "Where's Peter?" You asked "Crashed on the sofa in the common room." said Remus. You snorted. Then you took the record player from James and set It up. "What is that?" asked Sirius. "It's a record player, it plays muggle music!" You explained, taking the records from him. You showed the boys how to work it, and put on twist and shout by the Beatles. "Whoa, what is this?" asked Remus "It's called twist and shout by the Beatles, they're a global phenomenon in the Muggle world!" You explained "It's catchy!" said James "I like it!" said Sirius. You all danced for a bit, then you put on ticket to ride, jumped up and sang the entire song, you knew it off by heart. The boys clapped. "That was bloody brilliant!" said James "Where'd you learn to sing?" asked Remus "Didn't, I've just always performed to the mirror!" you laughed. "Can I ask, are they boys pyjamas?" asked Sirius "Yes, they are!" You laughed "Why are you wearing boys pyjamas?" asked James "Boys stuff is cheaper than girls stuff, almost all my muggle clothes are boys clothes or hand me down from my cousin." You explained "Cool!" said Remus "Hey, this song's my favourite, it's called here comes the sun, my mum used to sing it to me every night!" You explained. You were up until five the next morning, singing and talking. You were really happy, you finally had friends.
