Yn's scary story

One thousand years ago, in what would become Hogsmede, there was a farmer, who owned a border collie, every day he took the border collie out for a walk in the moonlight, by the river.
One tragic day, when the moon was in it's final quarter, the farmer slipped on some rocks, hitting his head hard and fell into the river.
The dog barked and barked, calling for her master, both he never rose from his watery grave.

On nights like tonight when the moon is in it's last quarter, you can still hear the dog barking, calling for her master.
I shivered, it was a short story, but yn had a way of making you feel scared, especially with her creepy torch lit face, and deep, hoarse whisper.
"That was amazing" I whispered, she blushed, it was hardly visible in her creepily lit face, but it was still just visible.
"Oh get a room already" huffed Sirius
The sound of a fist hitting a face rang through the dormitory.
"Lumos Maximus" I said, wanting to see if she broke his nose or knocked out a tooth. Nose, again.
"Sorry" muttered Sirius
"Episkey"
"Sorry, I didn't mean to break your nose again" yn apologised.
Then she grabbed a guitar from under the spare bed (Yn's bed) we'd managed to convince the house elves to bring up, we couldn't sleep on the floor every night.
She started strumming a song called Country Roads

Almost heaven,
West Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River
Life is old there,
older than the trees,
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze,

Country roads,
take me home,
To the place I belong,
West Virginia,
mountain mama,
Take me home,
country roads,

All my memories,
gather 'round her,
Miner's lady,
stranger to blue water,
Dark and dusty,
painted on the sky,
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye,

Country roads,
take me home,
To the place I belong,
West Virginia,
mountain mama
Take me home,
country roads,

I hear her voice in the mornin' hour she calls me,
The radio reminds me of my home far away,
Drivin' down the road, I get a feelin',
That I should've been home yesterday, yesterday

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads

Take me home, down country roads,
Take me home, down country roads.
Yn was a beautiful singer, and the way she played her guitar with so much passion, every aspect of her was perfect, even her imperfections. Like the way she gets so annoyed with her hair, but she could totally rock the just crawled out of bed look. And how she got cross about her crooked teeth, even though she still looked beautiful. She was the definition of perfection, and I, Remus John Lupin, was hopelessly in love.
