*the next week*
"Hey, dudes, I have an idea, how come only Moony can have a cool nickname" said James
"We're listening" you said
"Well, what if we used our patronuses to make them up" said James
"Brilliant" you exclaimed
"One problem, how do we produce a patronus" asked Peter
"Like this, Expecto Patronum" said James, immediately a glowing white Stag emerged from his wand and charged around the room.
"Nice one Prongs" you said
"Prongs, I like it" said James
"My turn" said Peter
"Expecto Patronum, EXPECTO PATRONUM EXPECTO PATRONUM" Peter shouted, but nothing happened.
"It's quite difficult" said James reassuringly.
"Sirius" James prompted
"Expecto Patronum, EXPECTO PATRONUM" yelled Sirius, a shaggy dog raced around the room.
"Good job Snuffles" said Remus
"No! Absolutely not" said Sirius, lunging at Remus.
"Cool it Padfoot" you said pointedly.
"That's much better than Snuffles" said Sirius glaring at Remus.
"My turn" you said determinedly.
You thought, what was the happiest memory you had.
Maybe when you first published Rose. No.
Maybe when your first night at Hogwarts. No.
Then it hit you.
Last week.
Yours and Remus' first real date.
And your first ever kiss.
"Expecto Patronum" you said confidently.
A glowing white she-wolf walked around the room, finally stopping at Remus and sitting, before it faded.
"Lovelle" said Remus, looking at you.
"Remus, you try, just for fun" you said smiling
*Remus' POV*
I thought hard.
Maybe when I first met the Marauders. No.
Maybe when yn drew the picture. Strong but still no.
Then it hit me.
Last week.
Mine and Yn's first real date.
And my ever first kiss.
"Expecto Patronum" I shouted. Immediately a male wolf appeared and walked around the room, finally stopping at yn and sitting, before it faded.
Yn's patronus was a she-wolf.
Our patronuses were the same animal.
Surely that meant something.
*James' POV*
Holy Cricket.
When I was researching patronuses I read that if two people had the same animal patronuses, that basically meant that they were soul mates.
Yn and Remus were soul mates.
