A/N: for context, Tommy is like 6 Wilburs about 10 and Techno is 12. Anyways I hope you guys enjoy the break from angst <3

|*~Wilbur POV (3rd person)~*|

Wilbur pressed his face to the glass of the pet shop window, admiring the animals as close as he could. He gasps as a small brown cat jumps up to put its paws on the glass. It looks directly into his eyes as a very wide smile grows on his face.

Meanwhile Phil was coming out of another store with Techno and a young Tommy wandering behind them.

"PHILLLL! CAN WE GET A CAT?" Wilbur yells, still wide eyed staring back at the kitten.

Phil just laughs as he observes the scene.

"Why would we need a cat? We've already got you." Techno said jokingly, pulling Wil's attention away from the cat. Wilbur grumbled as a response.

"I'm not a cat!"

"Am too" Said techno

"Am not" Said Wilbur

Phil rolled his eyes at the classic sibling bickering as Tommy grabbed his hand

"Wilby my little meow meow" Tommy smiled at Wilbur, knowing exactly how he would react

"See! even Tommy agrees" Techno says, smirking.

Wilbur just stuck his tongue out at him before going back to the cat

"Phillll just look at her!!" Wilbur whines, pointing to a small cat who was licking its paw. It looked up, bright eyes, before walking back up to him and sniffing the glass.

"Seeeeee.. she loves me already" he said, dragging out the e

"I'm sorry Wil, but we can't just get a cat.. it's not responsible"

Wilbur exchanged glances between his two siblings. They knew what they needed to do..

They all looked at eachother, counting down.

"on 3. 1..2..3!!"

"PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" They all shouted at once

"Alright! Alright! just quiet down" Phil said, as other parents looked over.

'I can't believe this is happening..' Phil thought

He took a deep breath before saying "Ill think about it.."

"yesss!" They all whispered excitedly

When they got home, all they'd have to do is make the best slideshow to convince Phil to let them get it...

At home...

"Guys stop this is serious!!"

"I know I know..."

"hmmm.. how can we convince him to let us get the cat?"

"OOH OHH! I've got an idea!!"

"NO! I'm NOT spending my precious allowance on this!"

Phil chuckled to himself as he listened through the door. He went back to where he was sitting to wait for them to be done. Soon enough the door opened, revealing 3 kids and a laptop. They set it on the table in front of Phil before getting into places.

"Why we should get a cat"

"By Wilbur, Tommy, and Techno"

Wilbur spoke first

"One! Sally is still alive and i've had her for almost 5 months!! Goldfish don't live that long so it shows i'm responsible enough" he said, looking proud of himself. Techno rolled his eyes

"Two. It would make us very happy to have a cat, so if you're a good father you'd do what's right and let us have a cat." Techno said, eyeing Phil as he said this, Phil eyed him back.

"My turn my turn!!" Tommy said excitedly

"We'd give it foods and water everyday! And you don't even have to pay for it because we can use our allowance!!" Tommy said, acting like it was the selling point of the presentation

"Hey! I never agreed to that!" Techno said, sounding angry

"We'll do you want the cat or not??" Wilbur returned

"I do but I don't want to spend my hard earned money for it" Techno huffed.

Phil just smiled at their antics.

"Lucky for you, no one has to use their allowance!"

They all gasped

"Does that mean we're getting the cat??!"

"We'll see.. now off to bed you three!"

The began racing each other to the room

"Hey wait up!! You guys are older than me, that's not fair" Tommy complained after them.

The morning...

"Boys! wake up, I've got something you might like"

Wilbur jumped up in bed, same as the other two. They all shared a glance before dashing out of the room.

"Wait! be gentle, she's not used to this environment yet." Phil said, seeing the children gaze in wonder and amazement

"Can we pet her?" Wilbur said, being cautious

"Of course you can, it'll help her adjust to us" Phil said, smiling.

They all sat on the floor around her. Wilbur letting her lick his hand, Tommy letting her tail run through his fingers, and a tired Techno just watching.

Wilbur giggled before saying

"I have the perfect name for you.. friend"
