Chapter 7

*Lily's POV*

I don't know what happened to Katie, Levi, and Jess. I hope they left, so they can find us, and save us. I'm really scared, but then I found Demi, I needed to talk to her.

"Hey, Demi," I said

"Hey, you okay?" She asked

"Yeah," I said

"Look, it's not that bad. She comes in and check on us, then turns off the lights." Demi said

"But.. aren't you scared?" I asked

"Yeah, but it's life." She said

*Jess's POV*

We left, but then we decided to think about what we should do about this situation. I was really scared to death, but we have to save Lily and Demi. Then Katie decided to lighten up the situation.

"Maybe we should tell the police.." Katie said

"ARE YOU CRAZY??" I shouted

"Yeah, besides they won't believe us," Levi said

"Well, they might. Lily's mom was guilty in jail, Demi is kidnaped, I mean they might believe us." Katie said

"Don't you get it? My dad is a cop and he'll kill me if he finds out that we tried to find Demi." I said softly

"What do you care about more, getting in trouble or saving Demi and Lily?" Katie asked

"Saving Demi," I said

"So, you're all in?" Levi asked

"Yes," Katie and I said at the same time, we all went to the police station.

"Of course I believe you, Jess." My dad said, then I nodded slowly

"So, you guys need to be the distraction." He said

"The distraction?" I asked him, not knowing what he was talking about

"Yes, Jess, Katie, Levi. All of you guys go and talk to her, and at the right moment we'll arrest her." My dad said

"Okay, do you promise its safe?" I asked

"I promise," Dad said

We finally got to the house, my dad looked really scared. In moments like this, I don't think of myself. I usually think of who we're doing this for, and right now it's Demi and Lily. My dad is doing this for me, and his town.

"Hello?" I asked

"Jess?" Lily asked

"Where's your mom?" I asked

"She left. We don't know where she went." Demi said

"OH MY GOD. Let's go." I said, I got Lily and Demi out of there as fast as I could

"Not so fast," Lily's mom said, she then took Lily and lit the house on fire. She planned this, she was going to kill Lily.

"LILY NOOO!!!" I shouted

"NOO! PLEASE!! NOO!!" Demi cried

"NOO!!" Katie cried also

"Hey, Jess. What happened?" My dad asked I started crying like I've never cried before. This wasn't fair at all...
