Chapter 19

*Lily's POV*

I decided to fall asleep at Katie's. It was a long night, I thought every second of what Levi would've been like. What would've happened if my dad never faked his death? I feel like Levi thought I didn't love him or something. I mean, sure I said that, but I didn't actually mean it. I just wished that would've waited for me to have the funeral. He was very special to me. I've been thinking about this for hours. The rest of my friends were still asleep. I know I should've probably stayed in the treatment center, but I couldn't. I still can't believe my mom was there. My aunt Caroline didn't talk to me much, so I decided to go and spend the night at Katie's. Then I found out they had the funeral without me. I always felt so close toward Levi. Jess then woke up, yes thank god..

"Hey. I'm sorry Lily." Jess tried to say. I tried to fake a smile, but it didn't work out that well.

"Ya. It's fine." I said then Jess had a frown on her face.

"No, it's not," Jess said then she gave me a hug. It was nice. I really needed I hug right now"

How about we go shopping! Just you and I!" Jess suggested, maybe. I have been dying to get my hair dyed. Also to go to hot topic."

Okay. Let's do it!" I cried, Jess and I both got dressed. Jess wore a superman tee, a pair of ripped black jeans, and a pair of black converse. I wore a batman dress, black leggings, and batman converse. Most of the time when I went to hot topic, I wore something that they have there. Jess drove on the way there while I talked to her about the treatment center.

"Did you meet any friends there?" Jess asked I smirked a little. I still haven't texted Callie yet.

"Ya. Her name was Callie. She reminded me of you." I said to Jess. She looked surprised.

"How so?"

"She wore a lot of black clothes. Callie dyed her hair."

"Oh, cool," Jess said then we listened to Pierce the Veil the rest of the way. My favorite song was 'King for a Day'. We finally got to the mall. We first went to Starbucks. I got the 'Cotton Candy Frappuccino'. Jess got the 'Thin Mint Frappuccino'. After we left Starbucks, we went to hot topic. I got a batman and Superman bracelet. Then I also got a supernatural stocking cap and a Paramore t-shirt. Jess got a 5sos and Pokemon bracelet. Then she got a Pierce the Veil and Ed Sheeran t-shirt. We finally left the mall.

"Wasn't that fun?" Jess asked

"Yes! Why didn't you asked Demi and Katie to come?"

"I kinda wanted this day just for us." 

"Okay," I said silently

"Now we gotta dye your hair," Jess said.
