"Mama!" Kasani smiled and ran into his mother's arms who was waiting for class to end at the front of the daycare.
"Hey baby boy!" Mari crouched down and showered him with kisses while he laughed in her arms. "How was school? Did you learn something new today?" She asked, taking his hand and walking out of the doors.
"Umm yes! We learn 'bout plants." He looked up at his mom as he talked.
"That's so cool! Did you learn about how they grow?" Mari asked, unlocking her Benz.
"Yep!"
Mari smiled and picked him up, putting him in his car seat. "Well good job." She placed a kiss on his cheek and fastened his seatbelt.
"Tank you mama! And-and I made 'dis for you. Ms. Roy help me." He handed her a piece of paper that she took. As she stood in the doorway and read over it, she found herself smiling and poking her bottom lip out.
