🥀"Sickness."🥀(Hajime×Nagito)

Nagito's PoV:

Its been how many days since I got my results back?
2 days?4 days?I cant remember.
I didnt plan on telling anyone about it.Not even my bestfriend,Hajime.

Knowing him,he would just cry,making me regret telling him.But he would find out eventually.

One day,Hajime and I decided to hangout,like normal.My health was...getting worse but I was good at hiding it.

We were walking through the park to get to our destination having a normal conversation.

"That isnt true.He was very nice to me."

Hajime sighs.

"No Hajime.He was being really sarcastic and rude."

I roll my eyes.

"W-Well...now that I think about it...I guess your right."

Hajime sulks.

"You shouldnt let people treat you that way,Hajime.It makes you seem weak."

I say.

"Even if it does,I have you there to be strong for me!"

Hajime smiles.
I look to the floor as we continued to walk,not wanting to say anything.

"Whats up with you?You seem way more distant these past few days. "

Hajime frowns.

"Really?Im sorry I came off that way--*cough* *cough,cough*"

I was interupted by sudden coughing fit.My chest felt tight and my body felt weak.

"Nagito.Are you okay??"

Hajime asks,becoming alittle worried.

"*cough*,Im fine.I-Im-*cough,cough*-fine.This...ahem...happens."

I take a deep breath.
I clear my throat.

"Jeez.That sounded bad.Are you coming down with something?"

Hajime asks as he rests his hand on my forehead.

"Uhm...no.I think my throat is just abit sore."

I lie.I knew the exact reason for that coughing fit just now.

"Well okay.You should get some water.That didnt sound good just now."

Hajime says.

"Im really okay.Dont worry about it."

I lie again.

"If...you say so."

Hajime mutters,alittle skeptical.He knew me better than anyone and it wasnt like me to blow off a sickness like I just did.

He didnt...bother me about it though.Which was good.Everything is okay for now.

We continued with our day as I tried to conceal my health problems from Hajime.It was pretty difficult,it was only afew days after my diagnosis and I already felt horrible.Maybe it was just me.

Afew days passed and Hajime didnt have a clue about anything,I think.
Ive been feeling way more tired and weak.I knew it would happen but...so soon?

"Hm....lets see...."

Hajime ponders.
We were at my house for the weekend doing an assignment we got together.Hajime was bad at stuff like this.

"Maaaaybe....carry the 'x' over?And then add the 2?"

Hajime looks to me for confirmation.I gently smile.
