Hajime's PoV:
Stuck on this island with Usami away from family and other friends sucked.
But the 16 of us supported eachother.
We tried to make life normal here.
Usami was trying to be a good host.
She started to call out everyone's birthday.There was Peko's birthday,Hiyoko's birthday,Nekomaru's birthday.Usami made sure we all knew whose birthday is on what day.
Life was normal.
Friends,celebrations.Just life.
Not everyone was as close to the group.Nagito.
He was weird.Really sarcastic,obsessed and...overall weird.
Soon,Mahiru's birthday came up.April 24th.Usami made sure everyone knew two days in advance.
On April 22nd,we were all in the restuarant enjoying lunch and Usami sudden pops up.
"Everyone!!!I have big news!!"
Usami cheers.
"What is it now??"
Kazuichi sighs.
"Someone's birthday is in 2 days!!"
Usami announces.
"Who is it?I cant remember."
Chiaki mumbles.
"Its Mahiru Koizumi!!Her birthday is in 2 days!April 24th!"
Usami giggles.
"Oh!Really?I almost forgot."
Mahiru nervously blushes.
"Woooo!!!!That means another celebration!!!And more fuckin' caaakkeee!!"
Akane cheers.
"Maaahhirruuu!You are gonna have to best birthday ever!!"
Hiyoko hugs Mahiru,who was sitting next to her.
"Thanks for the update,Usami.I totally forgot."
I sigh.
"Should we hold the celebration by the pool downstairs?"
Sonia questions.
"Its too soon to start planning!Lets plan the celebration this evening or somethin'..."
Fuyuhiko scoffs.
"Fine.This birthday stuff is quite ridiculous."
Byakuya fixes his glasses.
"IM HYYYPPPEDDD!"
Nekomaru screams.
"How loud."
Peko winces at the sound.
"Im excited."
Nagito gently smiles.
"Uhmm...who said you were invited,Nagito??"
Hiyoko hisses.
"D-Dont be like that,Hiyoko!Everyone c-can go!"
Mikan panicks.
"Shut up,you ugly fucking pig!!"
Hiyoko insults.
"Waaaahhh!!!Im s-sorry!S-S-So sorry!!"
Mikan sobs.
"Ibuki needs to write a new birthday song!"
Ibuki chirps.
The room burst out in chatter.
This happened everytime someone's birthday was coming up.It was never gonna get old.
I glance at Nagito for a second.
He seemed...like he was expecting something to be said.What was he waiting on?Nagito then let out a deep sigh,seemingly disappointed about something.Sonia and Nagito then began to have a conversation which made me take my attention off of him.
