~author's note: Sorry for the super long chapter, but until I finish editing this, I got annoyed with my own overly wordy-ness.

You had explained to Yoongi just how far north the hotel was, and he asked you to explain where your apartment was. He was aghast to see you had another half hour of driving after you left the hotel and tried to offer you a room of your own.

"Just for tonight at least, (Y/N), I don't want to worry about you driving when you're exhausted." He persisted after you had declined twice.

"Yoongi, it's really not that bad." You replied. You tried to explain distance in the Mid-West and how driving a half hour was considered just a daily commute and he mumbled something about Americans that you didn't quite catch. You definitely needed to have days were you spoke nothing but Korean to catch up to were Yoongi was with his English.

You asked about his English lessons, and he mentioned how he'd been working with a tutor for a few years now one on one and with his BTS brothers. He had tried once or twice to say his "co-workers" and you gave him the stare and he eventually just started referring to his hyung and namdongsaengs out of habit. You found that everytime he did that, you smiled a bit. You didn't want to tell him it was even more adorable in person that it had been on In the SOOP, so you kept your reaction to a small smile.

You managed to pass the hour north chatting but Yoongi hadn't let go of your hand since you had shifted into drive and you were happy to let it stay that way.

As you pulled up to the valet service at the Drake and got out, you mentioned to the porter that you'd be back shortly. He took your name and the keys and you and Yoongi walked into the hotel. You were glad you had been to a few places downtown who had a valet service, or you would have embarrassed yourself not knowing what to do or who to talk to. Yoongi seemed to accept the valet service as a matter of course and for the first time today you took a second to ponder the gulf between your life and his actual life as part of BTS. You stumbled a bit and only Yoongi's grip on your hand stopped you from tripping entirely.

Unfortunately that meant you got to listen to more of Yoongi's worries about how tired you were and start the "you need a room too" discussion again. You were still arguing quietly between the two of you when you arrived at the front desk.

"Good evening. My name is (Y/N) (L/N) and I spoke earlier to Mr. Brown about some luggage. He had said he wouldn't be here but I would need to speak to the manager on duty?" You said after you were greeted by the desk attendant.

She froze, her smile becoming solid for a moment and she stepped away from the desk towards the knot of people behind her. A moment later, a woman in a navy suit stepped forward.

"Ms. (L/N) and Mr. Min, lets have this discussion someplace a bit more private shall we? This way please," and turned to walk down a small hallway. You and Yoongi turned to each other, and Yoongi kind of shrugged.

"You said you didn't think it went well..." and he tugged your hand to follow the woman down the short hallway.

The woman escorted you to a small conference room and turned on the lights. Yoongi gave a small sigh as he saw the luggage and keyboard waiting for him but the woman sat down at the table. In her hands she carried a file folder, and that sinking feeling filled your stomach again. There was yet another mess to clean up here it seemed.

The woman turned a hard smile to you before she introduced herself.

"Miss (L/N) and Mr. Min I assume?" she questioned. You both nodded and she continued.

"My name is Sheila Johnson, and I am the night shift manager here at the Drake. Mr. Brown let me know that you had spoke earlier and were most concerned about the luggage, so I want to say I am glad that your talent has his possessions back." She paused her to smile at Yoongi before continuing.
