Yoongi took his phone back and put it on the coffee table in front of you before simply pulling you into his lap and holding on.

"I think Babygirl, there's a whole conversation we've both been avoiding," and you hurried to turn and keep Yoongi for exploring that topic.

"Yoongi," you started but his arms tightened around you, and you leaned back against his chest, and sank back into his embrace.

Yoongi used a hand to move your hair from the side of your neck and pressed kisses against the skin he uncovered. You had no defense against his sweetness when he did stuff like this, and you were content to let him lead this conversation. Mostly because he'd been avoiding this almost as hard as you had.

"I want you to know I've been giving this some serious thought Babygirl, and I don't like any of the answers so far," Yoongi said, and he finally relaxed his arms enough for you to turn in them and let you see his face. His face reflected the gas flames from the fireplace, and you watched the light play over his face.

He rolled a little, so you were both facing each other on the couch. His hand reached up to play with the hair by your face and brush it back before he leaned in and kissed your forehead again.

"I think, mmm not think, more like what I want. What I would like is for us to spend the whole six months I'm here just like this," he said, and you tilted your chin up and captured his lips with your own. He pulled back a little and smiled down at you.

"I know we can't spend every moment like this, but that's what I want." You both smiled at each other, but he went on.

"I like it so much; I've been thinking about what happens in the summer (Y/N) because I want this to keep happening. And I'm not sure yet how to make that happen, but I want you to know Babygirl, that is what I want." Yoongi looked down at you and stroked your face with his hand, and you used your free hand to wrap around his back and hug him tight.

Your whole body relaxed a little. You'd been thinking, no more like obsessing, about this for awhile now, but you'd thought it was probably a bit one-sided at best. You were you and, let's face it, he was Min Yoongi. It wasn't like you guys were going to have a happily ever after when your lives were so stratospherically far apart.

To hear Yoongi had thought about it too helped your anxiety a lot, even if he hadn't figured out how to resolve the issue. To be honest you weren't sure there was a resolution, not without someone, most likely you, giving up some major concessions. And you weren't sure how you felt about that, when you really thought about it.

But you'd never allowed yourself the "what if's" of a future with Yoongi. You'd learned that lesson hard after the accident, and wishful thinking was for dreams and children. You and Yoongi definitely weren't children, but you thought of any future with him as a kind of dream. Any plans you'd had for yourself at the new year for the rest of this year had immediately been blown apart by the entrance of Min Yoongi into your life and you realized you really hadn't thought about any plans for anything after June at all.

You realized he was waiting for your response, and you tried to smile for him but it went wobbly when your emotions started to overwhelm you.

"It's what I want too Yoongi," you knew your eyes were watering up, but you couldn't seem to stop it from happening. "I want to enjoy this time with just us," you started but Yoongi leaned down and stole a kiss before using his hand to wipe away tears that had started to fall.

"Just us... and whichever of my brothers that invite themselves to stay with us," asked Yoongi and you smiled through your tears.

"Just us, and your family Min Yoongi," you started but Yoongi held a wince of his own. You pulled back a little and watched a entire string of emotions play over his face.

He shook his head and made the face that told you he didn't like his thoughts before he continued.

"I meant my co-workers, but you'll have to meet my actual family too (Y/N) that is very important to me, but I am afraid. I don't think it would go well."

Your breath caught in your throat. You'd never even imagined things going quite that far, but Korea was rather famously focused on family, and you realized you should have thought about. Then again, you'd never thought past him getting on the airplane and that whole drama playing out.

Yoongi looked down at that moment and laughed.

"Babygirl, you look like one of Jin's fish," he said and started to crackup. Yoongi mimed his mouth opening and closing like a dying fish and your face must have gotten more affronted because he couldn't stop chuckling.

You employed your secret weapon and used your fingers to find those ticklish spots on his side which made him giggle even harder. Yoongi wrestled your hands away from his waist and pinned them over your head while he rolled you underneath him.

"Ah Babygirl," he said and you thought he'd continue but he leaned down and kissed you breathless. You tugged at your hands against where his was pinning you down and you felt his smirk against your lips. You tried again, wanting to hold onto him, hold him close but he refused to let go and adjusted you both so that he could deepen your kiss, until you forgot you were having a conversation at all.

Later you told a sleepy but highly amused Yoongi that you were grateful he'd turned on the fireplace in the living room since he'd taken all the blankets into the bedroom this morning, but you weren't chilly at all.
