By the time the guys came back to the apartment, you'd finished in Yoongi's studio and had put everything away again. Your violin could definitely use more practice. Your mom would be horrified if she knew how little you were playing these days and you resolved to try and fit that into your schedule.

Somewhere.

You were back in your office rearranging your schedule a bit when you heard the guys come in. You heard the door slam and feet running and immediately panicked.

You flew out of the office and down the hallway to find all three guys in the studio. You stopped in the living room and looked down the hallway.

"Is everything ok?" you called, and Tae saw you.

"Hyung she's in the living room," he said, and you saw Yoongi push past him and rush over to where you were standing.

Yoongi immediately gathered you into his arms and held on tight.

You blinked and patted him on the back, not entirely positive what was going on.

"Yoongi what's wrong, are you ok?" You tried to pull back to see his face, but he wouldn't let you go. You tried to lean a little to the right to see Jimin or Tae, but Yoongi was holding you so tight you found you could barely turn your head at all.

"Yoongi, I have to breathe soon," you mumbled, and he let you go a little and you took a deep breath.

He leaned back enough to put both hands on the side of your face and studied you before leaning in and giving you the softest sweetest kiss. You weren't sure what was driving that, and you were more than willing to accept it, but you were still confused.

You took Yoongi's hands in yours and pulled back a little from his kisses so you could think.

"Baby what's wrong," you whispered, and Yoongi started to laugh and brought you in for another hug.

"Shouldn't I be asking you that Babygirl," he asked. You were still confused and were about to say so, but he leaned down and whispered in your ear.

"I told you the monitors in the studio worked now," he said, and you thought back to what happened after you had completed your tribute to your parents. That level of reaction had been new, you hadn't really been that broken by what you had started doing annually years ago for well, years now.

"Ah," you breathed and hugged Yoongi tighter. "I didn't mean to scare you love. That happens every year," and Yoongi leaned back.

"Why didn't you wait until I was home, (Y/N) I would have been happy to be here for you," he exclaimed, and you hung your head a bit.

"I'm sorry Yoongi, I didn't even think of asking you to be there. I've done that by myself for so many years now, I'd never thought of sharing that with someone," you said and his arms around you tightened once more, and you relaxed against him.

You heard noises behind Yoongi, so you nudged him, and he opened his arms enough to let you lean over and see Tae and Jimin standing awkwardly in the hallway to the studio. You patted Yoongi's arm and looked up at him and he leaned down to press a kiss against your hair before letting go.

You walked over to Jimin and Tae and bowed to begin your apology.

"I'm very sorry to have worried you," you started but Tae picked you up and hugged you while patting your head. Your eyes started to water a little but when he put you down, Jimin was there with open arms for a hug.

"I'm sorry we didn't know it was the anniversary Noona," said Jimin and you couldn't stop the tears that fell.

"it's ok Jimin. I certainly didn't say anything to let anyone know, but I thank you," you said between sniffles and felt Yoongi's presence at your back. His arms came around you from behind and you leaned into his strength. Tae inched out of the hallway and into the living room where he picked up the box of tissues from the couch and held it out for you. Smiling you took a few and dabbed at your eyes.

"I'm just not used to sharing this with anyone," you started to explain again, and Yoongi's arms tightened around you and Jimin and Tae both shook their head.

"You don't have to explain to us Noona, but if you need us we're right here," said Jimin quietly and you sniffled again.

You smiled against the tears.

Yoongi noticed and leaned around to make sure everything was ok, and you smiled for him again.

"This is what having a family feels like again," you said as you smiled. Jimin and Tae smiled back, and you turned to Yoongi. "I missed it I think," and Yoongi's arms enfolded you once more. You reached out and squeezed Jimin's hand and mouthed "Thank you" and he nodded.

Standing in Yoongi's arms, surrounded by your little brothers, you thought you were brave enough to ask for a favor.

"Yoongi, Jimin, Taehyung, could I ask for some time from you tomorrow?" All three guys nodded but Yoongi turned you in his arms.

"What's up Babygirl," he asked, and you tried to smile again.

"I need to take a long drive tomorrow, will you guys come with me?" You were a little hesitant in asking but Jimin and Tae nodded before you finished speaking.

Yoongi stared at you a minute before reaching to brush the hair back from your face again.

"Whatever you need from me Babygirl, I'll offer it if I can," and you happily stepped into the warmth of his arms and just held on for a bit.

In the morning, you packed a little cooler for the backseat crew and were thrilled beyond measure that you'd been able to get on the road before 9. It was a long drive out of the city out to the Northwest corner of the state but you thought you could be there and back home again before too late tonight.

Home was the penthouse now and you paused in the thought. Any thought of home for you now was really just Yoongi and that was its own problem. You glanced at him in the passenger seat from where he had turned to face Tae in the back and argue about something. You caught Jimin's eye in the mirror and knew he'd seen you staring at Yoongi, so when he grinned, your blush came out.

Yoongi continued to argue with Tae, but his hand stayed steady on your right leg and you thought everything was right with the world.

The four of you headed west of the city and soon Tae was fascinated by just how quickly it had gone from city to suburbs to rural America.

Yoongi had figured out where you were heading without you having to say anything last night, but you weren't sure the boys knew. Well probably Jimin, he was excellent at figuring out those details. Tae was sensitive once he knew, but before he knew he could be as oblivious as any Valley Girl to certain things before he figured things out.

You were so grateful for the time you'd been able to spend getting to know them beyond just what they show in the spotlights, but you were more grateful to the joy they'd brought Yoongi in the almost three weeks they'd been here now. He was much more relaxed in the presence of his brothers, and you thought you'd understood why he was always sleeping when he was near all six of them, he was just that comfortable with them.

You kept heading west until you were passing more cows than cars and then split off the main toll road to continue west onto smaller and smaller roads.

Eventually you reached a small turnoff from the county highway you were on, and you took a deep breath.

Yoongi glanced over sharply, and you placed your hand in his. He automatically laced his fingers through your own and held on tight.
