The next morning, the lovely winds and the singing of exotic birds have woken us up from our warm relaxing sleep. Michael opened his eyes, and the bright sunlight hit his eyes very quickly.

-Grrr... what time it is?- He said while covering his eyes so badly.

-I don't know, Mike

-I don't know, Mike. Do you have your compass?- I asked him.

-Yes, I do. Let me check where we are.-

The compass is in the same position as yesterday. Michael felt relieved.

-Oof! I thought we're in the wrong direction. I hope we get there quickly.- He said.

-Ok, great. Anyway... good morning, Mike.-

-Good morning, Mary. How's your sleep?-

-It was great. Our bodies felt warmer during the night, cuz we shared our milk together.-

-Oh right. That was pretty good. I felt warmer too. It was the best feeling. Hey, you hungry?-

-Yeah. Is there still any food?-

-Absolutely! We have fish and bananas.-

-Let's have fish today. I'm pretty we're almost home, because it's not that far by now.-

-Yeah. We walked for about 3 days to the savanna area, and we rode on a zebra for 2 days until an angry gorilla interrupted our trip. But hey, this is the most fun vacation we ever had.-

-So true! I've never had a lovely vacation than ever. I know we had some negative moments, but the rest was worth it. We got cool stones, we got mirrors, and we met new friends.-

-And we had great food too.-

-Yesss! And the food.-

Michael and I cooked our pieces of fish for breakfast. And for snack, we had slices of banana.

A couple of hours later, Michael stood on the boat, moving the boat while I'm sitting in the back, keeping our baskets full of precious stones and diamonds in the drawers. Our last remaining food are inside the drawers also.

-Michael! Are we almost there?- I asked.

-Not quite sure. But I can see the birds flying from above. It looks like we're close, but not sure if it's it.- He said while raising his arm up on his forehead.

It's been 30 minutes, still no sign.

-Michael! You should get a break.- I shouted at him.

-No, honey. Not yet. I must keep an eye on the river.- He seems tense and stressed.

Unfortunately we don't have advanced technology like a telescope or GPS or a map to guide ourselves to our home cave. But with Michael's natural instincts, I'm pretty sure we're getting there soon. It's been almost a month since we started traveling.
