Ash: what's going on!
Goh: it looks like a race, cool!
Ash/Goh: go! Go!
Cerise: and it's happening live from lilycove city, the Pokemon marine athletic race.
Ash: the Pokemon marine athletic race?
Chrysa: the marine athletic race is an obstacle course that's spread out at the local beach, you can see there's a lot of excitement on race day. It draws a lot of fans.
Goh: a vaporeon!
(Y/N): (mudkip runs in) wait up mudkip! (They both see the screen) oh look a swampert
(We see vaporeon overtake swampert and buizel as Eevee looks at it as it pictures itself swimming about as a vaporeon)
Ash: eevee is cheering for vaporeon
Cerise: eevee could evolve into a vaporeon.
(Chloe has a flashback to what professor Pinery said)
"It's unique. It doesn't seem to be able to evolve no matter what stone we try to use. All eevee possess unstable DNA from the start so it just may be this eevee's DNA is a little more unstable than usual or perhaps it hasn't found it's true path just yet and is feeling a little lost"
(Flashback end)
(Chloe watches her eevee as they watch vaporeon win the race)
Goh: yeah vaporeon wins!
(Eevee cheers)
Chrysa: you know that vaporeon and swampert are competitively fierce rivals.
Ren: wow you know all about it.
Chrysa: vaporeon's trainer and I were friends when we were students.
Ren: that explains it.
Announcer: Kiley and Vaporeon congratulations on your win
Chloe: eevee. (Eevee looks) wanna meet that vaporeon? (Eevee comes over) may we go? I'd like to learn more about this eevolution.
Cerise: good idea, knowledge is important.
Chrysa: I'll ask Kiley about it. He's very friendly I'm certain he'll say yes.
Ash: I'd like to go too!
Goh: yeah me too!
(Y/N): and me! I know who I'm going to bring today.
Cerise: then make sure you have fun.
All 4 of them: alright!
Chloe: ponyta is it okay you stay here, just for today.
(Ponyta nods in understanding)
(Timeskip to Lilycove City)
Chloe: so that's the marine athletic race course.
Ash: it looks huge when you see it up close.
Goh: like an amusement park right in the water!
(Y/N): let's see if our training paid off mudkip use protect!
(Mudkip uses protect and blocks an attack from a wild nincada)
(Y/N): now squirtle use water gun!
(Squirtle uses water gun on nincada weakening it as he throws a pokeball)
