(We hear the crowd cheering as we cut to one of the entranceways to the battlefield as Ash has his mega glove on as he looks at it as we see Sirfetch'd and Lucario then we see Ash put on his z ring as we see Pikachu and then Ash puts his dynamax band on as we then see gengar, Dragonite and dracovish as they all look ready to battle)
Ash: (takes a breath in and out as he gets ready for the battle) right. (He faces his team) we're finally here, I'm counting on you. (His Pokémon are all ready)
Goh: hey Ash (Ash looks as we see Goh also has his phone out as we see (Y/N) is on speaker) win this.
(Y/N): (on the phone) yeah you've got this, I know you do.
Ash: right. (Looks at his team once again) let's go! (All his Pokémon shout out as they get ready to battle)
(We cut to Cynthia as we see Diantha is there waiting for her)
Cynthia: I'm surprised you came.
Diantha: I wouldn't want to miss your battle, I had to be here to see it. After all, I'll be cheering for you.
Cynthia: thanks Diantha, I promise that I won't let you down.
Diantha: if anyone breaks Leon's unbeaten streak, it's got to be you.
Cynthia: no pressure right. (Diantha chuckles as Cynthia gets more serious) I've decided something.
Diantha: what's that?
Cynthia: once this tournament is over, I'm going to retire from battling.
Diantha: huh? You're retiring?
(We see Cynthia is just smiling as we cut to Oak's lab with all of Ash's old Pokémon along with Delia, Tracy and Oak watching the screen for Ash's next battle)
Oak: alright everyone's here, I'm counting on each and every one of you to cheer Ash on (all his Pokémon are more than willing to do that as Oak turns on the screen as the battle is about to start)
Announcer: it's the Pokémon world coronation series masters 8 tournament. It's a truly exciting and special event in which champions from many regions gather to compete. Onto the second semi finals match. Ranked 8th in the masters 8, Ash Ketchum takes the field (we see Ash walk out with Pikachu by his side)
Announcer: there he is, celebrated as the very first Alola region champion. Ash has managed to work all the way up to the semi finals! What kind of battle can we expect from this young man?
(They take their side of the field as Pikachu looks at Ash and Ash as they're both ready for this)
Announcer: next ranked 2nd in the masters 8 please welcome Cynthia to the field. As you all know, she's the Sinnoh region champion and her amazing strength and commanding presence truly give off the image of royalty. So which one of them will get the chance to battle Leon?
(We see Leon watching in the waiting room area, Diantha is in the part we were first introduced to chairman Rose watching and we see (Y/N) watching from the Pokémon center with Dragonite who is still asleep at the moment)
Announcer: will it be Cynthia? Or will it be Ash?
(With team rocket)
Meowth: yeah! The match we've been waiting for!
Jessie: feel the fire coming to you in the heat of the moment!
James: Cynthia's Pokémon are overwhelmingly strong as usual, don't miss a moment!
Referee: the semi finals are full 6 on 6 battles. There will be no limit on time or switching out Pokémon. The one who leaves all 6 of their opponent's Pokémon unable to battle wins! Also a contestant is only permitted to use dynamax, a z move or mega evolution once per match!
