Chapter 6

The morning after that, I woke up around noon. I only knew because, conveniently, there was a clock repair store next to the field I slept in. I laid down on my back staring up at the sky watching the clouds drift by. I thought about how its almost been nine months of living completely outside in Mexico. I used to feel alone a lot, but as soon as I ran into Vic that one day something changed. Then I thought about Vic. All I knew about him was that he was bi and his name is Vic. And he's very hot.

I barely know him, and I trust him.

Thinking about him got me worried. He said he'd come back today. Then again he said he had a job. But if he had a job why doesnt he at least have enough money to rent a hotel or something? He dresses rather well in button up shirts and those tight jeans that accentuate his ass very nicely. Also he had Vans shoes. I think there's something hes not telling me.

I dont expect him to tell me everything. I'm not telling him everything either. I mean, we aren't dating. I met him a couple days ago. In my dizzy state of mind I heard Jamie's familiar voice walk up to me.

"Hey, Kell. How are you?" he asked, crouching down so he didnt tower over me.

"I'm okay. I mean, I wanna go back home to Michigan, but I kind of hate everyone there right now." I said. He chuckled.

"I see you've become friends with Vic." he said.

"Yeah, Vic is cool." I saw him lightly bite his lip and look away.

"I might have to warn you about him."he whispered. I sat up to hear him better.

"Like what?"

"He likes to dominate. Like, if you guys ever date, you would be a bottom."

"How do you know? I'm manly too." I defended.  He laughed.

"Think that now, my friend."

"No but really. How would you know?" I asked. He pursed his lips.

"Thats a story I'm sure he'll tell you when hes ready." he said, standing up and leaving.

I sighed and laid back down. I tried to make out shapes in the clouds but gave up when every one looked like a cotton ball. It was hard to focus when all I could think about was what Jaime said about Vic. I cared more about being a bottom than what he meant but I'm sure I won't care when the time comes.

As the day carried on and the light slowly faded I got the gut feeling Vic wouldn't show up. Now I remember why I dont trust people. I trusted Vic too quickly. I noticed I was tearing up and fanned at my eyes to dry them but one tear managed to slide down my cheek. I was blinded by my tears as more fell. I eventually gave up trying to stop them and just let it happen. I rolled on my side and quickly fell asleep just to do it all again tomorrow.
