Chapter 96

Kianna's POV

I yawned, waking up in MY bed, in MY room, in MY home. Nah, THAT'S going too far. I stretched and yawned again, then headed downstairs. Everybody watched me as I went down the stairs.

"Did I- did I do something wrong?" I asked.

"No." Sonic said. "It's just that your hair is down."

"MY WHAT?!?!" I yelled. I looked at my hair, which was now down and long, and I rushed upstairs, desperately looking for the band to hold it up. "Where is it? Where is it? Where is it?!" I yelled, throwing all the blankets and pillows off my bed.

"Missing something?" A voice asked. I turned around to see Sonic with my band to hold up my hair in his hand. I gasped and ran over to him, quickly putting up my hair.

"Thank you. YOU are a life saver!" Sonic smiled.

"How does all that hair fit in such a small ponytail?" Sonic asked. I shrugged. 

"No clue."

"Maybe...." Sonic started nervously, but then he trailed off.

"Maybe what?" I asked.

"Maybe you should cut your hair a bit.  There's a lot of dead ends." I held my ponytail protectively.

"No. This is the first time I've had my hair down in years. I'm NOT having my hair down. Not again. He'll-"

"He WON'T hurt you. I'll make sure of it."

"Promise?"

"Promise." We pinkie sweared. I smiled.

"But what if... What if that guy tries to rape me again..?"

"I'll protect you." He told me.

Sonic's POV

She breathed a sigh of relief. "Do you even know who he is?" Kianna shook her head. "He is Amy's uncle. After he betrayed Camelot, Amy's dad sent him to Avalon."

"So just a guy who wants revenge?" I nodded.

"Yes." Then, something in her mind seemed to click, because she gasped happily.

"WE'RE GOING SHOPPING!!" She screamed excitedly. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Yes, yes we are. Now, get ready." Kianna gave a small squeal of excitement.
